I think I just heard them say Brogdon is out rest of game with a sore hamstring. He was struggling in first quarter.

All we needed to do was take the loss and get no one else hurt. We couldn't even do that.

Personally I think Turner is done for the season and Sabonis quite possibly. I just can't see them rushing them back unless other teams tank so much that the Pacers climb the standings. Otherwise, I see 10th place playin game.

Pritchard said in a new Q and A with Bob Kravitz of the Athletic that he hopes Turner will return before the playoffs

We're only a game behind Charlotte. The 7/8 playin is very possible.

He gets a 20/20. I put that on Old Nate coaching not to get fired and playing too short a rotation.

I don't want to be Mr. Negative, and I know you are the eternal optimist from your posts. No offense. I'm a realist and my feelings are the Pacers aren't meant to succeed this season or any other season in an NBA that is structured against small market teams and where the superstar players are controlling where they are traded or cut in order to form super teams. This season with the injuries the Pacers have endured and the LeVert delay they've been lucky to possibly make the playoffs.

Pacers remaining
Brooklyn 0-1
OKC 1-1
Washington 1-2
Sacramento 2-2
Atlanta 2-3
Washington 2-4
Cleveland 3-4
Philadelphia 3-5
Milwaukee 3-6
Los Angeles 4-6
Toronto 5-6

Charlotte remaining
Detroit 1-0
Miami 1-1
Detroit 2-1
Chicago 3-1 <----TANKING or SUCK REAL BAD I'm not sure but the trades did nothing for them so far.
Orlando 4-1
New Orleans 4-2
Denver 4-3
L A Clips 4-4
New York 4-5
Washington 4-6

Washington in the remaining schedule they go 7-3 and pass both teams taking 8th. Pacers and Charlotte take 9th and 10th tied.
Chicago remaining 2-8
Toronto 2-8

So as I've said Pacers no better than 10th maybe 9th.

What the heck

Don't make him play through injury

If he needs surgery, then let him go for surgery

Even if surgery isn't need, just let him rest and rehab, don't ask him to play unless he's 100%

As I said the other day, I think the Washington games are key. If we lose them both, 10th or worse is likely. If we win them both we'll be higher. If we don't get some players back, your pessimism is justified. At this point, I'd say I'm not optimistic as much as uncertain.

First play in the video

TJ is just so bad in plays like this

Instead of trying to chase Mike James and strip him, he should have tried to cut off the passing angle to Blake Griffin

But he didn't, he focused on Mike James and tried to go for the steal, and it gave Griffin and the Nets an easy basket

Thinking this over I can clarify. I am not predicting we will finish higher than 9th or 10th, but I am still hoping we do. The draft looks flat to me after the top half dozen so I don't see a big advantage to dropping into the lottery.

I think our best result would be to play our way into a matchup with Philly. I don't see us beating the Nets or the Bucks even with this years starters healthy. Again, I'm not predicting. Just wishing.

The talking heads have you believing nobody can beat the Nets. Could be that they win it all. You just don't know how injured players are or if teams are resting them also.

If only they did a better job of developing Alize and giving him opportunities

Can someone explain wth is going on with Pacers defense here?

LeVert hanging around not defending anyone, Justin not guarding Alize, Sumner somehow positioned behind that Nets player, Brissett the big man defending the Nets ball handler at the 3pt line

Seriously, what is going on with this defense?

And what is the coach pointing at? Did someone ask directions to the restrooms?

Seriously though, who can explain much of anything this team is doing? Or the league as a whole this year?

Has there EVER been a time with the rash of "injuries" league wide? How many of these do you think are legit, and how many are just guys resting until the playoffs?
