Bad loss and once again, the momentum from the 3rd is loss once Dray and Curry rest to start the 4th. Kerr has to figure out the rotation. Also, does Poole realize that when he goes to the rim, he is playing against real NBA players? Dude has his shot blocked so many times.

I agree. Mulder, Lee, Smilagic, even Bazemore should never be your best options off the bench. Use that money and sign better vets.

I'd rather have Lin because at least he is going to try. Hell, Barboza and Collins are better options.

He is. I love Lin, but he is done. His shot is there but he cannot defend in the nba anymore.

Shhh... this is the team of the future. They may be young now, but three years from now they will be Super Saiyans. Keep old guys Lin Roshi away. We need to get these guys playoff experience.

I thought they should have brought Lin not to come in and win but to build Wiseman up by playing with a professional in the second unit.

Complaining about Myers when we get out-rebounded 57 to 34 and we don't have Oubre, Wiseman or Chriss? When you can't rebound because all your best rebounders are out you can't win games. Who cares about all our healthy guards, if we had healthy forwards and centers we would have competed on the boards and won easily. Mulder would have been shooting his shots in garbage time of a blowout win.

Chriss out since season started.
Wiseman was ruled out for the season.
EP is a bad rebounder so it didn't matter.

Looney is your tallest player and wiggins is second. Myers decided to add small guards rather than get a big.

Dubbs have been a bad rebounding team all season, yet it was never addressed.

Wait a minute, we haven't added any players to this roster since the season started other than GP3's ten day contract. No buyouts, no vet minimums, no undrafted rookies or G-league call ups other than GP3's single ten day contract(which we didn't renew).

This isn't Myers doing, this is Lacob calling the season toast and pulling the purse strings tight. We drafted a center #2 so it's not like Myers isn't willing to invest in rebounding. If we go through next season with the same problems with rebounding I'll concede that Myers is overlooking it but under the circumstances it seems pretty clear this situation isn't of his doing.

Edit: Let's not overlook the Oubre signing. He's an excellent rebounder for his position and has increased his rebounding numbers every year so if rebounding was a goal this off season, he was clearly part of the solution.

I continue to be amazed that people insist we're just a healthy Klay away from being championship contenders. Outside of Steph, Klay (will he be 100%?) and Draymond (11 points is a huge offensive night for him now), this team is straight trash. Sure, we have guys like Wiggins and Oubre who do good things here and there, but this is so far away from being a contending team it's a joke. There is no consistency at all. Wiseman will I think be good but he's clearly at least a year and maybe 2-3 away. And that "awesome" Wolves draft pick is looking worse and worse by the day.

If Lacob did all this then why does Myers even have a job?

Clearly Myers has made a lot of mistakes here or at least let mistakes be made.

We definitely need another playmaker off the bench who can create for others. We have too many inefficient tunnel-visioned scorers and Jordan Poole might not be that playmaker. Kerr's initial impression that Poole needs a playmaker to play alongside him (though not Mannion) is probably correct. Klay is a shoot first player himself, albeit a super efficient one, so he won't help in this department either.

The catch is, those playmakers were hard to find in free agency and we were left with bottom of the barrell guys like Wannamaker running our second team. Not sure how we address this priority but it's definitely a need in the offseason.

Other than that, it would be nice to have another big body pf/c off the bench. Here's hoping Chriss is that guy on the cheap.

the biggest mistake is if we go into next year pretending that having Klay back (and who knows at what % of his old self) next year means we're back to being contenders again. the bench unit essentially has to be completely rebuilt...and if we go into next season with Poole as our #3 guard, we are gonna be in trouble (relatively speaking).

It’s like you guys don’t realize they can’t sign better vets for the chump change those guys were signed for. The warriors are paying 3 max contracts and Draymond $25 million. If ring chasers don’t choose the warriors they can’t force good Vets to sign them.

Unfortunately this season went down the drain the moment Klay was injured. This team was supposed to be Steph, Klay and Draymond’s with Wiggins being added at the 3. That team may have attracted a better vet at the taxpayer MLE but we will never know.

The best hope for the future is getting the minny pick to go with their own FRP.
