If we can lock up 7 via math, you start Nico and Oubre and sit Curry and Dray. Shameless tank to avoid the 6 spot. The asset matters.

Good question, what we would chose if LAC would get 2nd place? Pick or avoid LAC? :) I would chose PHO and give pick to OKC. I am desperate to see Paul losing 7th time in career to lower seed :)

Just need five teams in the east to have a better record. It will be close if the Dubs reach 39 wins for the 6 seed.

Spurs schedule is brutal. Heat Celtics Sixers Jazzx2 Kings Blazers Bucks Nets Knicks Sunsx2.
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

I don’t mind warriors get the 6th seed and losing the pick, it would mean curry continued to go off and he would have to be the mvp

I agree with this. Also, it means we get back the 32nd pick so its not completely losing a draft pick.

If we lose to Dallas, and maybe a few more, still a good situation since we will be in the play-in while keeping a top 20 pick instead of the 32.

Point being, I don't see a huge negative to rooting for Steph to go off and try for a historic season getting the 6th seed and maybe a 3rd MVP. And if it doesn't go that way, all good, we just get to draft about 10-15 spots higher.

Curry going nuclear for the rest of the season, doing some serious damage in the PS, and possibly getting the MVP would bring in some much needed ven minimum top level talent. Some will still come, but there would be more bells & whistles if the above happens.

Saying that, Steph has had 3 minor tweaks to his ankle in the last 2 weeks. If he has another minor one, it may be wise to rest him in a game that isn't B2B so he has 3 days to heal up.

Steve Kerr blew any chance of a push to 6th.

Well I'd like to think it would be a feel good story...Curry....Draymond...leading the young team through to the 8th seed and a playoff shocking run.

BUT.....Under any kind of pressure of expectations this team folds.....:( Just way too many G leaguers ready to tighten way up in meaningful games.

I think we get a WIN one and move on playin position...but...so hard to expect much at this point.

definitely feels like the Warriors need a 7-8 seed. Having to win back to back play-in games probably falls into the "unlikely" category. But, never count out steph and dray...

that's a easy schedule...jazz/phx toughest but they might already have locked up seeding at that point and resting up.

At this point, nothing is easy for these guys. The dubs are part of the “bad teams” group

Yep. I think we are all imagining some deep down 73 win team that in the right situation will rise up and beat the better teams.

umm...we suck. Both Curry and Wiggins scored against the Wolves...and we lost...to...the....Wolves.

Our depth is depleted due to injury. We can't withstand any losses to our front court. If we had Oubre or Paschall we beat the Wolves. Right now our front court rotation is 4 guys: Dray, Loon, Oubre and Paschall. All those guys are undersized to various degrees and Oubre is included only out of necessity.

If we have those 4 guys healthy we're capable of winning 1 or 2 games to get into the playoffs. If we're missing 1 or god forbid 2, we're getting outrebounded by 10-15 and going nowhere.

If I have to watch this team depend on Bazemore and Mulder to grab rebounds again I'm going to throw the TV out the window.

Oubre or EP does not move the needle. We have been struggling all year..The only player who can help is Klay..but its not like he will take us from bottom to contender..
