Almost certainly. My assumption is that they had no targets that they were interested in bringing in with so little time left in the season, and that they wanted to give some love to a fan favourite veteran before he hangs them up for good. No different than the Chicago Bulls signing Luol Deng so he could retire as a Bull.

Yeah that was my first thought. He prob won't play but will just mentor guys for the next couple weeks and then retire a Cav.

There’s nothing wrong with him in a Haslem like role for that franchise but I didn’t know he was still playing.

Denver should sign Nene too.
