The NBA plays at a much faster pace than college. I think we saw tonight that Nesmith has finally figured it out. And for a player as young as he is, I believe it's more than coincidence, and that he is starting to be able to "read the floor."

I always go back to something Durant said years back. He said coming into the league and not being expected to win right away was beneficial to his game. It allowed him to go out there and make mistakes. It allowed him to learn his game and grow without the pressure and worry over benched or deferring to veterans. Having Kyrie, Hayward and Kemba here creates this expectation that Boston needs to be title ready now, when Tatum hasn’t even hit his prime yet. When KD was 23, the Thunder weren’t title contenders. But once KD hit his prime as a player, it was a wrap. I feel the same way about Tatum. He’s only going to get better each year. The game is only going to keep slowing down for him. These are the games that we’ll look back on when he’s dominating the East in a couple years

It’s more of an opportunity. You build confidence by playing consistent minutes, and not through feqr of getting yanked out by simple mistakes. I hope he gets regular minutes from here on out.

happy for Jaylen that he hit that three. He had a horrible night on both ends and he stuck with it. This is a character building type game for him. Hopefully this shuts people up about Tatum not being a #1. Unlike others who score 50+, Tatum isn't getting fed wide open looks. He gets his and imho has surpassed Pierce. Love that Brad is finally playing Nesmith. Should have been from the start but better late than never. Popovich is such a fraud. Without Duncan he's a JAG and his teams have zero chance of sniffing deep playoff runs. Glad we're seeing him get exposed.

Aggressive down hill Tatum is the best Tatum. He'll figure out how to get his FT's or maybe silver will make the call lol

I will say this, maybe cbs was right to slow play it with nesmith because he's killing it now. i thought had he played more earlier, his confidence would have been here sooner but maybe cbs was right, maybe he needed more time. really doesn't matter, HE'S HEREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Aaron was playing hard earlier in the season, but instead of taking him off the floor, it was more like scrapping him off the floor.

He's starting to be in the right place at the right time, and the motor is still there, so we can expect to see more of Nesmith. I'd be surprised to see him back in Brad's dog house, Aaron is a pitbull that will not be denied!

The Celtics actually did it: they pissed off Brad Stevens so much that he chewed them out at halftime (well, he probably still did it in his usual calm manner, but still). Brad was probably sooooo sick of losing to the Spurs too, hence that halftime speech

I didn't watch this game because I'm basically tuning out of this team for the season, but damn, that's one game I'll regret not watching live for the rest of my life

Nah! He should have played him sooner. But like what some poster have said, better late than never! He could be a good two way player in the making. Strong and athletic.
