Ruz. What about Shaun Wade as a free safety convert?

I think he will be moved around. Press coverage at the line opposite Jackson with Fuller as slot CB. Rivera likes players that can play multiple roles so he’ll get time at FS probably.

Teams were trying to trade up to take him according to Rivera.

This is the guy that I don't know what to make of - for better or worse. Did they get him to jam the bigger WR's at the line - because we had trouble with big WR's - particularly on 3rd down plays getting 1st downs at will against us. Also, I read that he was the highest rated tackler among college CB's. Supposedly he's not a real smooth athlete with his hips, so as was suggested - maybe he's better suited to safety? Is he a guy you can move around depending on matchups?

I wonder about his ball skills. One pass defended total last year. No interceptions in his career I believe. At FS you kind of need a ball hawk, right?

Also, wholeheartedly agree with your earlier post. Didn’t realize Jabril Cox was still on the board. If he’s there in the fourth, we should absolutely grab him.

I also would really like Charles Snowden as a Ryan Kerrigan replacement.

Yeah, no ints seems like a red flag, but the saving grace - in 2019, he was 3rd in the Big Ten with 10 passes defended. I'm going to give RR the benefit of the doubt that he has plans for him, because he does have some unusually good attributes.

He's a big-time athlete, but yeah - what is he? Definitely not an outside CB - maybe a slot CB, maybe a FS? Can learn while playing special teams.

That was what I thought with his height and less than blazing speed.

I get the feeling everyone knows now we got our LT for most of the next decade. We picked him over JOK, and word was JOK was a player the Skins really liked. They LOVED Cosmi. And his frame is enormous - I think he'll be over 320 by the time the season starts. He might not start as a rookie, but I expect he will by the end of the season. And this allows them to move Charles around - as it sounds like they don't see him as a LT.

And this works out well, because they can use Samuel in the slot so Brown plays on the outside. We'll finally have 2 WR's that complement McLaurin. Btw, I just heard Brown being compared to Stefon Diggs - except less reliable at this point. Wow. Diggs is easily a top 10 WR in the NFL, imo. I think he's our best value pick - though obviously his route running will need work.

Cowboys get Jabril Cox - no surprise Skins couldn't get him.

Kene Nwangwu goes to the Vikings. 4.2 speed. Didn’t think he’d go this early.
And Stevenson is off the board right after

TE Bates. I don’t know ?

Sure handed blocking TE is the ESPN description.

45 career catches in 44 games. He probably tested well, but I don't get this pick at all. Seems like the type of player who you can easily get in the 6th round.

Lol one profile says he’s not athletic & the next says his athletic ability as a HS track, football & basketball star shows in his play. Some say he has ability to make plays down field & the next says he’s a close to the line of scrimmage safety valve. One says he can block & the next says he struggles in the blocking game. WTF ?

But all agreed he’s got sure hands.

Football reference say he's only played 20 out of the 44 games according to this website. So at least he averaged 3 receptions per game in his final 3 games as a senior. But he's also a 24 year old rookie.
