KP and Kleber are questionable, but I can’t imagine Porzingis plays even if he has no soreness whatsoever.
The fact that the Wizards are playing well and it’s on the road actually helps the Mavs chances… if they were still tanking or playing in Dallas, the Mavs would probably lay down again… Maybe they’ll actually show up for this one though.

Wizards are on a rolll. A serious one. And I also think their style of run and gun with Westbrook and fighting their ass of is not suited for Dallas.
So winning here would be huge. Also, Portland is winning games, which means they are just waiting for Dallas to slip. Very important game and I would be impressed if they get a win. Wizards are also coming from a B2B.

Westbrook probably has a chip on his shoulder considering that Houston traded him plus a first for Wall. Beal and Westbrook have learned to play together. This looks like a tough game.
I assume Luka will not miss a second game in a row with his elbow. KP is to the point where he doesn’t really add to the Mavericks. Overall, KP has been a big disappointment to me. He has stepped backwards this year. I didn’t think a meniscus tear typically had more than a six month affect on a player. He seems to be made of glass and will miss 33% of the games every season.

DFS & Luka back.
KP - perpetually questionable.
Wizards are on a roll, but I'd be massively disappointed if the Mavs didn't take care of business tonight.

Yeah I live in Maryland so watch most Wizards game, they are on fire. Crazy enough, it started after the TDL when they got Daniel Gafford. A guy the Mavs had every opportunity to draft, but Donnie thought getting Roby or Giannis' brother (cant remmeber) was a better use of the pick. Gafford is relentless like Westbrook and just exudes the kind of energy a wining team needs.

At this point i have a feeling if KP does really well in playoffs, fans will still want to trade him. And i wouldn't blame anyone for thinking like that tbh. He is simply way too fragile.

Its time to part ways with him, his attitude, his availability, and his D, his play, just not worth it in any way. Problem is, who would give up value for him?

Supposedly there’s still a market for him. Wiggins + Wiseman makes a ton of sense for both teams, but yeah I agree with you. The fit isn’t there on or off the court here in Dallas

Well the thing is, i feel like he could actually produce a really good season somewhere else if he is the main guy. So i guess there are teams who would be willing to take a risk. But the problem is, even if he suddenly has an all star season, i 100% don't trust his health anymore. Mavs took the risk and the way they are playing and building this team, it just didn't pay off so far. And with Luka visibly being frustrated with him i believe Mavs will explore every possible option.

I think at this point, KP will perpetually be a "game time decision" if his knees feel ok, he gets the green light.
Look, I get why his brother Janis wants to preserve his knees and lengthen his career to pay the bills. KP is the only one who made the NBA and pressumably the only one making serious money in the family right now. But micromanaging it wont keep him in the NBA for long. Ralph Samson might have a longer career at this point.

If that trade becomes available the Mavs should pull the trigger in a heartbeat.
Wiggins is vastly overpaid but has been pretty durable and a career 20ppg player. Wiseman's youth and upside is a plus.
Imo that would be the perfect way to get out of the KP situation.

I'll have to respectfully disagree. I'm all for trading KP, but not for that package. Wiggins eats too much cap space with such minimal contributions, and Wiseman is already out with a season ending injury. He could be a KP all over again
If we could include Tor and get Siakam, they get hometown guy Wiggins and Wiseman, I prefer that
