Would be nice to get Moses, but this is the Packers, so it will be someone projected to go undrafted

Here is the problem. That guy is projected to go undrafted by people without jobs in the league. People in the league have very different opinions from people randomly mocking this from the internet. They have interacted with coaches, they have watched ALL of the film, they develop relationships, they also project players to the systems that they are drafted into. Worrying about how pundits feel about picks is useless. You know what Eric Stokes is? A first round draft pick. No matter how he is projected by pundits, or how other teams felt about him, he IS a first round draft pick.

Guys like Moses get a lot of pop playing at big schools, but let's be clear -- he is available at the comp picks in the 5th round. Every team passed on him to this point.

And the Packers just drafted a guy who doesn't have nfl quality speed to play a position where speed is very important... Sometimes people try to overthink something simple...

Didn't I just see a post of him running a 4.47?

I agree to an extent, lots of guys around the league pegged Eq St. Brown as a 2nd round pick. It does happen every year. PFF which I think is regarded as one of the more accurate (even though there are big misses all the time) has him as a 4th rounder.

Dylan Moses and Trey Smith in the 6th would be fun.

Didn't think he was an NFL player. But he's a Wisconsin kid so who knows.

I'd still take a flier.

I think you take fliers in round 7. You are essentially drafting priority UDFAs in the 7th. Injury guys like Trey Smith and Moses will be high signing bonus UDFAs or 7th rounders given the injury risks.

I think that it is too late in the draft to be upset about teams getting particular guys. There is a reason people are getting picked in the 5th round through 7th round. I call it the "Anttaj Hawthorne Effect." Guys may be good, but it comes down to coaching at this point in the draft. You are essentially drafting guys with major holes in their skill set.

Of course Ihmir has holes in his game......but he has potential to be a nice player in the NFL. I assumed we weren't going to take him, just didn't want him to go a division rival.

If Rodgers is adamant about not coming back, would anyone be upset about possibly taking Jamie Newman if he's still there?

I think I take a flier on one of the injured guys who is falling out of the sky in the last round. If Trey Smith or Moses are there still, I like them -- unless the Packers doctors have removed them consideration completely. Outside of that I like almost any position. I actually think we could stand to draft another Running Back or Interior Defensive Lineman.

ETA: I just saw Trey Smith to the Chiefs.
