and the Thunder losing by 60, and Cavs getting blown out again
The closest threat was the Magic. Now there is a 1 game difference between the Pistons and 3rd worst.

true if we lose to them next game we have some nice breathing space at 2nd. If we win though, right back in thick of it all

Looking at their scehdule, the Cavs probably don't have another win left in them. They are most likely finishing with the 21 wins they already have.

Would not surprise me at all if Detroit, Orlando, Minny, OKC and Cleveland all have 21 or 22 wins to finish the season. Going to go down to the last night or two for sure.

If the Magic lose out as well then they're tied and both would have the same odds for all picks 1-7. If neither team gets a top 4 pick then a coin flip determines which teams picks 5th.

EDIT: Scratch that. Totally forgot that one of the remaining games is against the Magic.

And the magic win! You stepped in it tonight Mano!

If that’s the worst slip up I make I’ll consider myself lucky

Bruh, the Pistons have proven they're going to do what they need to do to lose out from here. I'm no longer concerned about other teams. When you control your desired destiny nothing else matters.

Well, the Wolves ended up losing.

But the Magic winning is a wow. The Thunder and Cavs remain entirely hopeless.

3.Magic 22 wins
4.Thunder 23 wins
5. Wobles 23 wins
6.Cavs 23 wins

Its going down to the wire. This is the most exciting race we've been in the standings for many many years!

They can accidentally win one of the Pacers, Celtics or Wizards games. Their last game is against Nets also, who can rest all their trio to finish if their seed is defined.

I've seen Killian listed as doubtful for Magic's game.

Under normal circumstances you’d expect the Cavs (or any team) to win at least one of the games they aren’t expected to win.

They’re just fully imploding right now. I expect them to lose out. Ready for a pleasant surprise though.

Good grief. I understand it, but this is exactly why NBA ratings are in the toilet because its league wide.

Why would anyone, even hardcore Piston fans watch this game? (Killian Hayes may be out as well?)

Welp, let's hope this all ends on a top 3 pick.

I wonder if I can change my name to "Tank Tankerson" and get a 10-day contract.

A lot of this end of season is defined by the thrill of watching the competition of who can tank the hardest.

The Pistons play hard and even the players we have left are better than theirs. We will win this game by double digits unfortunately.

From the magic side, Ennis, Otto, and Ross are the only suspect 'outs' tonight. The others are actually injured. What is up with Jerami and Cory coming and going depending on games? Are they truly injured or they also suspect 'outs'?

We're so close, there's zero incentive not to completely go for it at this point

Keep those "knee contusions" going
