I don't think that was the plan.

The Mavs shot 45% from 3-point range and only won by 1.

Not a choke but a bad decision. Should have faked the 3 and drove or draw the foul

He made the right play. It was pretty much wide open. I think Beal panicked some, but weird that Russ didn't have the ball there considering the night he was having and that's he's more of a clutch player. In fact, had the best clutch shooting stats in the league last I checked.

Beal needs to shoot 1,000 threes a day in the off-season. No reason a player with as good a stroke as him shoots under 35% from 3.

Trey Burke killed in the fourth quarter. They got a second wind because of him.
Bye bye Beal.

Neto had to just take the ball, drive 4 ft, and shot it. Nobody around him. Bad decision to pass back to Beal.

Also, is Beal still without a last-second game winner in his career?
Love the guy but that part still perplexes me.

I think Neto panicked. All he had to do was drive towards the hoop and the path was clear for a few feet, and a easy mid range shot. Its something he can make. Instead, Neto was going by the script and passed the ball back to Beal. After Beal dribbled the ball off his feet, he was already discombobulated.

No reason to shoot the 3! Beal should have kicked it over to Russ. Russ would of drove it to the hoop, or lobbed it to Gafford or Rui for the dunk. Beal panicked and chucked a bad shot.

Pretty sure he made one against the Spurs about 6 years ago

I don't understand what you expect from either player. Neto is a role player. He's not paid to take last-second shots or drives. He made the play to the freakin' leading scorer in the league! He didn't pass the ball to Alex Len or Daniel Gafford at the three-point line. Beal was open and maybe he didn't know how much time was left on the clock because he fumbled the ball. But he missed an open shot. It happens.

Russ should get a POTG even though it was a loss.

Thought forsure that Beal 3 was falling. No idea why the wizards intentionally helped off of Finney-Smith in the corner and gave him a WIDE OPEN 3 to win the game. You could literally see Brooks yelling out the plan to leave him with 20 seconds on the clock. The guy is a 40% 3pt shooter.

Beal panicked he fumbled the ball and then rushed his shot.
Russ should of ran the final play. Beal is not good at that.
