3 lineman, plus Dietzen.
Definitely rebuilt that line. It's not sexy but it's a complete necessity.
I think stokes could be exciting if he pans out by year 2.
Amari is exciting, he could fill the slot and upgrade over erwin and be a returner, hits two needs in one.
Maybe a sneaky grab at a solid RB. If he's good there's room for reps as the #3.
Dline and LB still a problem. We aren't the best with later round guys at picking those guys so... Hopefully it pans out.

Re: Grade the draft
My reference point on how hard it is to grade drafts is this one
https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/gnb/1995_draft.htm
Experts hammered Ron Wolf the day after. Ended up being one heck of a haul of good players.
Voted B, but have no strong opinion on any of these guys, save for Amari Rodgers. Really like that pick if his repaired ACL holds up.

I don't know the prospects well enough to judge the actual players/value but it seems like the most need based draft they've had in a while. Hopefully some of these guys can contribute early and actually address those needs.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

I don't know penis about college football, but they seem to have drafted for need, they probably have enough difference-makers anyway, they got two guys I love who I didn't think would be available (Hill and Rodgers), and they drafted some cool-ass names. I give them an A-, as any good teacher does when they're too ignorant to know what grade is deserved.
Wut we've got here is... faaailure... to communakate.

Re: Grade the draft
I'm also reading into this draft that they aren't as confident in last year's crop of OL picks. A lot of draft capital spent on the OLine in both years. Runyan seems to be the most likely survivor from last year. There's a high level of in-season attrition on the OLine, so that factors in too.

Re: Grade the draft
Hard to grade this draft. Not the players I wanted at all, but I trust their evaluations.
Well they lost Linsley (smart decision), Bakhtiari will miss at least half the season, and they will need to replace Billy Turner soon.
Bakhtiari starts on injured reserve:
Jenkins, Turner, Runyan, Patrick, Hanson, Stepaniak, Myers, Newman, Van Lanen, (Dietzen or Nijman)
That's 10 offensive linemen. More than likely by the time Bakhtiari is back one of the other players will be hurt. If not, it gives the young guys a chance to battle it out. I love how we drafted 3 offensive linemen in 2020 and 3 in 2021 and I am pretty sure (barring injury) at least 5 of them will be on the active roster. You want to stay young and cheap on the offensive line.

You've got a point there, plus Turner is in the final year of the current contract, so maybe he's gone next spring.

It looks like the OL till Bakh is back will be
Jenkins at LT
Patrick at LG
Myers at C
Runyan at RG
Turner at RT
Also, these guys drafted all seem to be best fits at guard. Though they've played tackle.
I'd also not discount another Veldheer signing.

Re: Grade the draft
Solid B. Seems they wanted to address some glaring needs and they did just that.
I still don't understand our approach to the defensive line. We improve that unit and the entire defense takes a much needed leap forward.

B-
Addressed their pressing needs at CB, WR, and OL/DL depth. Just not a fan of the value at where they picked some of them.
