I hope we get some And1 feature for clowns/trolls so we can tag them and automatically understand not to take them seriously.

25% of the board would be impacted by this.

How about some positivity?

Fournier and Nesmith.

Both looked really good.

Nesmith, 3 really good games in a row. Shooting, defense, hustle.

Fournier was feeling it. Hitting shots, especially that big 3 from the corner off the kick out by Tatum, and Fournier made that nice steal in the 4th which led to a Tatum layup.

The bad? Offensively, too much iso ball, not enough ball movement. Tatum, Brown and Smart each had a bonehead turnover at key moments.

If we were just a little better defensively at rotating, defending their screens and contesting shots, we win. Oh and those 2 calls (the ejection of Smart when Nurkic barreled into him and waiving off TT's tip-in) were terrible..

I only watched a few minutes of the 4th quarter. It seems like the refs shattered our momentum when they ruled out Thompson's putback dunk that would've put us up 108-107, saying it was over the cylinder (which it was clearly not). The refs didn't even let Brad challenge it. After that blown call, Blazers hit two consecutive threes that put them up 7. Game was far from over then, but it felt like it at that time.

I turned it off after that stretch, I was just disgusted. Were the refs really that atrocious this game?

On a positive note, Nesmith looked fantastic again today. He's been shooting confidently and efficiently, and his hustle has become a nightly thing. Before anyone disparages Brad for not giving him more minutes early in the season, it should be pointed out that Nesmith looked absolutely overmatched in like his first 10 games, then after a trip to the doghouse he started playing with this newfound energy and hustle that we've grown used to seeing now. Maybe that woke him up or something. Either way, I'm glad to see him thriving.

A silver lining to this loss is it's helped Portland catch Lakers in the standings.

Taking out Nesmith was the turning point. We were making a run and he was doing it all out there. Never should have brought Brown back in this one.

Brown should have been warming the bench for the actual player, Nesmith.

But whaddya know, these players have brad on a leash like he’s a chihuahua

I loved Nesmiths new found confidence, and it is even translating on defence. You can see he is not overthinking things and playing in the flow. A couple of times, he could get over screens, while earlier in the year, he would have died up and trailed the play.

Another small thing I like was the little floater he did after the pump fake because it looked like it has potential. And there were a few times where he was engaged in his defensive stance. Just small observations that are evident now compared to the player from earlier in the year.

Pritchard, Nesmith, RWIII, and hopefully Romeo can become good enough pieces to surround the Jays

I still think the Celtics are relatively far away from a championship but Nesmith showing something the last few games is so much more important than any regular season game this year or even handful of games as long as players obviously don't suffer serious injuries.

The Celtics IMO still need a truly dominant big and it will be extremely tough to win a championship without it but I won't discount the importance of a good 3 and D player. Like it or not, even the threat of Danny Green helped out Spurs/Raptors/Lakers. Robert Horry was more of a clutch 3 point shooter than a marksman but he surely helped out the Lakers as well.

Brown was already a gametime decision. His ‘replacement’ Nesmith playing very good. Normally you just keep riding the hot guy certainly when your other guy is plagued by injuries. Ugh

We just could not get a stop. Sure POR was on fire but we should have done a better job defending the 3 point line.

Refs also did not do us any favours, I was surprised how pretty much every call went their way. It really killed our momentum...

Again too many turnovers that in the end decided the game. And Brad should have gone with Nesmith over Brown...JT isn`t looking OK the last couple of games...terrible shooting and terrible defending...

And what is up with Stevens and challenges? Worst coach in the game with challenging calls...

Bro, Brown shoots .484 from the field and .397 from 3... Calm down.

I will however never justify Smart shooting over 10 shots a game and he wont stop. I think Danny and Brad are enabling him even more. He's shooting .336 from 3 and .400 from the field on 11 shots a game.

We cant go into next year with a smart Kemba backcourt. We need a pg with size who can defend and we need a shooting guard .

aggravating game but setting aside all the whining about rotations and refs, this shows once again we're just not able to compete with the cream of the nba. injuries haven't helped for sure but we've got most of our team back now, and they were even playing well. except jaylen whose ankle is clearly an issue... just sit the guy already, we need him healthy for the playoffs to have any hope at all.

Honestly, I’m cool with a lottery pick and the play in tournament. I got that Danny Ainge mindset always looking at next year.

The video replay showing Brown putting weight on Tatum's leg, causing it to bend and buckle awkwardly is still very concerning.

What’s there to be concerned?

This team improves tenfold once we let Brown sit on the bench and keep it warm for Nesmith and Fournier.

The guy is a black hole on offense and the worst team defender in (W)NBA/NCAA history.

Ideally he’s traded (along with Smart) but Danny is dumber than a rock.
