You don't allow a player to dictate how you run your front office. With that said if they fired Gute to hire John Dorsey I would love it.
Sure. But why is Rodgers the only person holding people accountable with a sense of urgency?
Why are we selecting 3rd string QBs in the first round when we are 13-3 with an all-pro QB?
Why are we selecting RBs in the second round to be our 3rd string RB when we have an all pro at the position?
Why are we kicking FGs in the NFC championship game down 8 less than 2 minutes left and within 10yards of the end zone?
The packers have had 2 of the top 10 qbs in NFL history at the helm for over 30 years and only 2 Super Bowls to show for it. Why are more people not upset about this?
Rodgers didn't even hold himself accountable. Why did he wait until they drafted Love to look back to earlier in his career to see what he was doing different. This also shows that he knew he wasn't playing as well as he could so he should not have been surprised they drafted a QB.
No way of knowing if Love would have been the third string QB with a normal offseason.
without the short offseason and then getting Covid maybe Dillon wouldn't have been the number 3. At the end of the season they were using Dillon and Jones on the field at the same time. Also Jones hasn't been the picture of health. Not sure you want to overuse him.
I would have went for it, but Rodgers did get three cracks at it and none were very good. Maybe if he scrambles and gets closer Lafleur goes for it. Analytics were almost 50-50 to either go for it or kick the fg.
I don't get upset about sports anymore. I enjoy watching, but it is nothing to get that worked up about.
