The Magic have 9 guys healthy right now. 8 players are flat out not healthy enough to play. Who else can they rest exactly?

They also still control their own destiny for the 2nd worst record and 6th pick floor.

Lose in Detroit and magically (no pun intended) all is right in the tanking world again.

I really think those that were pissed at Cole(or any young rook) winning the game wants us to do the OKC route and sit Cole RJ WCJ down and sign some 10-day GLeague player and replace them every 10 days until the season ends.

Yesterday's win is what it is....I had them winning one of the mem game and sixers game to end the season. The win that hurt us really bad recently was the Cavs one. By winning that 1, it pretty much put is in a position of only being able to win 1 more which we already did. Everything from now on has to go perfect, there is no cushion. Lose Out and hope that by the last game of the season we are locked into a position where maybe we can actually root for the young guys to end the season with a win.

OKC can cut it to 1 with 16 seconds left.

The Kings go up 1 game on the Bulls. They also have 3 games against OKC left. So the Bulls without Vuc and Lavine, probably won't catch them. So the Bulls will likely end up 7th or 8th, depending whether or not they win more games than Toronto.

We do this EVERY TIME. This is what cost us Luka and Trey last time.

The NBA literally went out of its way and implemented new rules to stop tanking so why are you guys getting so worked up over a win? In 2019 the Pelicans won the lottery with a 6% chance, if it's meant to be it will. This is meant to be entertainment so enjoy it.

This draft isn't deep enough to hope to get Bulls 8th pick, i don't care if they draft top 4 and we get unprotected 2022 pick from them.

Sacramento and Toronto both won making the Bulls the 7th worst team.

Lavine and Vuc are both game time decisions tonight against the 76ers. If they lose, they'll be a full game behind the 8th spot with 7 games left.

Almost sounds like when the draft leveled off and we picked Sabonis with the 11th pick. Then Siakam, Levert, and Brogdon were picked after that.

I swear, that injury report better have Ennis, Ross, Okeke, WCJ on there, later today. Tonight is a MUST LOSE game. Seriously, don't **** around.

Everyone but WCJ is out. Ennis, Ross, Okeke, Porter and MCW are all out.

And the case could be made that he's actually hurting more than he's helping by playing on his bum ankle.

The flatten out remark happened in 2017 for what it's worth.

Weltman said it when the Magic traded away the 25th pick that year. Guys picked after that included Kyle Kuzma, Derrick White, Josh Hart, Dillon Brooks and Monte Morris.

Thanks. I've been out of pocket the last few days so haven't seen updated injury report.

Cole/Randle
Harris/RJ
Bacon/Brazdeikis
Wagner
WCJ/Bamba

Is that it? Damn, and we still beat Mem with that (minus new guy). I'm really worried. Our only hope is our guys go COLD and some of theirs go off.

A starting five of Anthony/Harris/Bacon/Wagner/Carter is not a recipie for "lot's of wins". Add to that that the Magic has essentially no bench, there will be a lot of games were the opponent second-unit puts the game out of reach.

I agree, but i was specifically talking about vs Detroit; our bottom-feeder competitors. I don't worry about other teams, but versus other tanking teams, it's a concern. if we can lose tonight, we *SHOULD* be ok rest of the season.

*no telling what new injuries other teams will have or how many will rest guys once playoff seeding is set.

I don’t understand why people don’t get it.

We are not tanking for a top 3 pick, per say. We are tanking so we don’t fall from 5 to 7. Finishing bottom 3 would almost guarantee a top 5 pick.

It's too many variables for people to grasp until it hits them in the face?
