KPJ burned RJ on those baseline moves from the right corner.

RJ is steadily improving. Once he locks down that consistency I firmly believing he'll be a 24 per night type of guy with 4-5 assists.
SELL THE TEAM, JIM!!! :curse:

That kid has some serious wiggle to him now that he's tightened up his handle, hope things work out for him in Houston...though a locker-room with KPJ & Christian Wood in it, seems like it could get tense, I'm kinda hoping the rockets lean into this Jailblazers thing they're starting to put together

Over the last month, the only players scoring >18 ppg on >45% from 3-point range and >80% on FTs:

Julius Randle
Kevin Durant
Kawhi Leonard
Steph Curry
Nikola Vucevic

and...

Rowan Alexander Barrett Junior

I was really impressed with those moves and that handle. I think that team would be much better if the added a true PG who would take care of getting Wood and KPJ the ball at the right time. To me, that was a glaring weakness.

Maybe they’ll jump on Payton this off season.

Scrubs drop rando 50 pieces in the NBA. Didn't Corey Brewer drop 51 a couple of years back? Terrance Ross?

I’m not even talking about that game. The kid has talent. That’s obvious. But he’s a bit of a knucklehead which is why you need to have some solid character vets around him to keep him on the right path.

Payton's too nice a team-mate, we need a proper ***hole for these Rockets

Hope he figures it out, He plays pretty good defense, Something we need. He just simply cant hit an open shot or a contested layup, Would be ok if he was playing alongside 4 great shooters and only had to defend, But he's got Edwards/Dlo/Malik/Okogie infront of him

As for RJ, he clearly played with no type of spacing, Didnt get many transition oppotunitys and was used as a spot up shooter, Pretty much every weakness he had in his game he was thrust into and any strength was not used. Im glad a lot of people saw that as you cant really write off guys that good in their first year as some players struggle for a little while jumping up into the NBA from NCAA

I thought he was going to be a project that was going to take a long time to realize his potential but he has a starter quality player already at the age of 20. Credit to his hard work, his trainers and Thibs imo.

For what it's worth, RJ is 6th in the NBA in distance traveled. :o
