One thing I didn't fully grasp early on is the pressure that comes with actually getting an ideal build with the right weapon, artifact, and consumable. Early on, before you've unlocked more weapons and consumable slots, it's f*cking vital to not screw up the boss battles and get as far as you can so you unlock more stuff. If you have everything in place, make sure you win.

There's ample resources to get back health, the dash system gives you invulnerability for a moment, and the right weapons make the biggest enemies trivial. The haptic feedback is so, so cool. The game feels amazing in your hands.
Between this, the draft, and the Brewers I know where my weekend is going.
You convinced me, I picked a copy up. Got home, forgot I have a digital PS5.

Was in a bit of a rut and decided to give Oxygen Not Included another go. I bought it a while ago and maybe played ten minutes and never came back. Played like four hours today. Not sure I know what I am doing at any given minute, games with tons of systems tend to overwhelm me, but having fun.

Never heard of it until now. Holy crap, it's Cyanide and Happiness in space. Gonna give it a shot for that alone.

Spiderman: Miles Morales looks gorgeous.
I'm hoping RDR2 gets a graphics upgrade. It's already amazing, but it could use some polishing.

Today was the day I realized how big my backlog of games is. Went back to Wasteland 3. Can't properly express how much fun I have when I send my mele character in to clean up. I literally say, "Bonk!" every time when she takes a dude out with a shot to the head.

Restarted Monster Hunter World yesterday and the new starting gear is bonkers. I just steamrolled through the Anjanath no problem; took me hours to work up to that point back in 2018. Hopefully it doesn’t teach me bad habits for once things level off when High Rank kicks in.

Valheim is one of the best games I've ever played.

Oh yeah, that is end-game armor they include for people that want to breeze-through to Iceborne. You may want to skip if you would like a challenge (or not if you want to get back to where you last were easily).

I played for probably 10 hours but haven't gone back since, still want to though.

Yeah, I’m trying to get back to where I was. I think I was at Rathian or Rathalos before I stopped playing. Can’t remember which.

Re: OT: Video Game Computers/Gadgets/Gizmos Thread
I feel like this should be way easier, but I need some reassurance. Our new house came wired for room to room ethernet using their Smart Home whatever by Automation Arts. If I'm reading correctly, I need to have ethernet output from the modem into each individual rooms input.

However, my modem only has one output. Am I supposed to buy a gateway to get around this? Basically splitting the one output from the modem to 4-8 outputs to the smart board?

Yes. You'll need a router.
The router is what tells what information to go to which device, basically.

I figured I'd need one, I have Google Wifi so I'll find a router that I have lying around. Thanks.
Would this work?

I'm not overly familiar with Google wifi, but I'm fairly certain you could use that switch after Google wifi setup and plug it into your Google wifi access point.
The switch doesn't have routing capabilities of it's own (That's handled by the Google access point)

What I was thinking was Modem -> Switch -> Smart Panel -> Google Wifi hubs plugged into the wall ethernet port in various rooms.
Watched a video. It's actually Modem -> Router (Google Home Wifi) -> Switch -> Patch Panel like you said.

Might go back down the Apex Legends rabbit hole. Skipped season eight, but the new legend looks cool and they’ve switched some stuff up that looks interesting. Blow another ~200hrs easy if I get hooked.

The absolute last thing I need right now is another game, but Resident Evil Village looks awesome. Saying that as someone who's never gotten into the series at all.

It’s very tempting because it’s being compared heavily to Resident Evil 4 (which was phenomenal). It does sound like it heavily ties into Resident Evil 7 though, and I’d feel obliged to go back a game. I think it’s ones of those “I’ll get it for cheap in two years on a Steam sale” types; don’t think I’ll miss out on the zeitgeist much with this one.
