Re: Game 66 : Golden State Warriors (33-32) @ New Orleans Pelicans (29-36) - 8.00PM
Three things of note from last night:
1 - Warriors seemed to play man to man and only switched out when they were forced into it.
2 - Really REALLY noticed how many scores came out of Curry just being on the floor. The "keep" play worked at least 4 obvious times. Several times guys got wide open dunks at the rim based on two men jumping at Curry.
3 - Does anyone have the Warriors record WITHOUT Oubre they look so much better offensively and defensively without him.

6-4
Some other interesting notes on other records without specific players.
Biggest gap: Without Wiseman 15-11
Best record: Without Bazemore 4-1
Only players where team has losing record if they are out: Steph, Draymond, Looney.

Regarding your point 3, by my count the Warriors have a 6-4 record when Oubre doesn't play with losses to Portland, Phoenix, Boston and Minnesota. Curry didn't play in the Phoenix game. Margin of the losses were small in in the Portland and Boston games. Most of the wins came against losing teams like Cleveland, Houston, and Oklahoma City though.

Thanks....the eye test tells me Warriors are so much more fluid and organized without him mucking up spacing.
6-4 is not that massive a difference. But considering that means Warriors are playing without him as a starter....that does say a lot to me. That record really should be reversed at least to 4-6.

So the Warriors record is at .508. Without Oubre it's .600 (+.092) and without Wiseman it's .577 (+.069). So wouldn't Oubre be "the biggest gap" if you mean we're better without him than without Wiseman? In terms of the number of games, sure, Wiseman is more, but since he's missed more games it's not meaningful.

How do you get beat off the dribble by James Johnson?

Bazemore, Bazemore, BAZEMORE. Why does he think he can post up or dribble past 2 or 3 defenders?

Yes. Just not a very good one.
Magic coach Stan Van Gundy has had to institute a no-flatulence rule because, as forward Rashard Lewis says, 'Dwight (Howard) really likes to cut the cheese.' "

I'm a little behind on the stream, but I counted 6 Warrior passes picked off or thrown out of bounds in the first quarter alone. Jesus christ, take care of the **** ball.

I don't know if anybody else is watching the game on league pass but... There's a pretty kick-ass high school drumming competition going on.

Bazemore showing off his whole repertoire this game: pull ups, isos, post ups, spots up, and passing. Hes failing miserably at all of it.

Yet people prefer him to Oubre.

Damn, Steph needs some help. Plus, he is starting to wear down a bit.
