Efforts to rouse Springer's leg have thus far failed. Jays training staff rumoured to be considering splashing cold water on it, offering it a particularly strong cup of coffee.

Springer out again. It's clear that he's still injured. Why hasn't he been placed on the IL? He's taking up a valuable spot on the roster.

I vote for the old fashioned way. Charlie judges how he's doing in-game, while keeping half an eye on his pitch count.

It's harder that way, but I'm holding out hope!

This Oakland team is pretty good.

Lowrie keeps tormenting us.

Jed Lowrie gotta be hitting around .800 against us dating back to his Boston days, I don't know how to get this guy out.

Kay the new Diesel 2.0? Man he looked "decent" back when we traded for him, what happened?

It helps when the ump doesn’t call strike 3.

Don’t recall him looking decent. The real prize is supposed to the be the other pitcher they acquired from the mets.

I know Simon Woods was the key in the deal, but didn't think kay was scrub either.

Running out a 2 man rotation over the past week finally coming back to bite us. Time to call up Pearson and see what he can do.

Kay is probably a future reliever like Borucki. May still have some value in that role.

That was one boring game. So how much longer does Jansen get?
