Unfortunately for the tank, the Raptors sweeping the Lakers and Clippers on the road has become a yearly tradition

They should give Jalen Harris a solid 20 minutes. He was doing good.

Definition of "Raptor Luck"...want this team to lose they look unbeatable.
Want them to win they turn into the 905.

That is incorrect. 7 is quite a bit better then 8 and 9 which are almost the same and then drops again at 10.

really good basketball game so far
both team making really crisp reads offensively and forcing things on each other defensively
you can see our bench lineups sputter but then they make up for it with an offensive rebound or a hustle play

Both those guys can defend like demons.
But Stanley gives it all back on the other end. Worst. Offensive. Player. Ever.

Bball Reference has him at 61% probability for the Hall of Fame. Like I said, he should be, but I worry that playing for so many teams year in and year out is going to hurt his chances.
Bball reference also has PG and Dame with higher odds than Kawhi. Whatever algorithm they use is pretty meh. Rondo should and most likely will get in

Don't know how they expect him to prove his worth if they're not going to play him. He's fighting for a roster spot next season.

There is no way he makes the hall of fame. Dude was never even top 5 at his position at any point in his career. He plays great when he has a stacked team beside him and horrible when he doesn't. That makes him a role player.

Josh Giddey might be nice next to him, but he super young.

Assists don’t equate to being able to run an offense

Quality effort against a team definitely going through the motions...but still. Clippers are the best 3 point shooting team in the league and they were 6-17. Raps were 6-17 themselves so not much better but that’s a pretty low volume of threes these days and for these teams.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?
Please advise….

I don’t care about playoffs - I just want to win vs these frauds.

As a huge Rondo fan, this is damn near blasphemy. Teams tend to be better when he's on them. I could make the argument that he was a top 5 pg in 2010.

This talking point is just a cliche at this point.
He's actually been creating alot of opportunities in this game. Aside from having 6 assists and 16 point before the half....he's been distributing the ball pretty good in general this game.

Good first half for the Raptors, with solid defence and balanced offence. But the Clippers should be embarrassed that they're getting worked by guys like Jalen Harris and Freddie Gillespie, if they really think of themselves as contenders (and running almost a full squad minus Ibaka).
The little floater off of his drive seems to be a new wrinkle that Pascal has added lately. He's done that shot from the post and off of a spin or turnaround before, but I've rarely seen him use it off a straight drive. If he can become consistent with that, it'll make his drive game a lot more dangerous, because the defence's usual strategy against him of packing the paint and having a couple of guys meet him at the rim won't work.
