Melo saves the day. Glad we managed to escape.

That was ugly.

And I was pretty sure Biz was going to foul Hayes, Hayes was going to hit the 3, get the "and one" and win it on a 4pt play.

I really hope Ashley asked that question because of the pass to McD and not because of the stuff Edwards was saying the other week.

Survive and advance. Have to play the next week like NCAA tournament games

Hats off to Diallo. As long as he wasn’t taking the shot I felt good.

What was Edwards saying? Because he never heard of A-Rod?

Naaaaaaa, I mean, he did say the A-Rod thing, but I was referring to him saying that if he was given a week to work on it he’d have a legit MLB standard 100 m/ph fast ball.

Something's clearly not right with Monk, we've seen this movie before.

I'm glad we won, but DET was missing more guys than we are, not giving me the warm fuzzies that we barely eked this out.

LaMelo Ball: Rookie of the Year.

That's all.

Went and looked at the game thread on DET's board and they were all nervous down the stretch because none of them wanted to actually win the game.

I've never understood that. I've honestly been apart of the tanking stuff in the past, but when the game starts its just impossible for me not to cheer for a win, no matter the circumstances.

I've just never understood it full stop - because even when we were a 7 win team I have never been, and never will be, pro tank.

You play to the very best of your ability.

Doing anything less is a losers mentality and breeds contempt IMO.

The one time I was pro tank was the very last game of the first season (2004-05) when we ended up losing out on Chris Paul because we played the reigning champion Detroit Pistons 5th string while they rested for the playoffs.

Terry was 8/23 from the field and 2/9 from 3pt. In the last week hes also had a 4/17 - 0/7 game and a 4/18 - 1/8 game. We've seen this movie before.

I'm not exactly sure what your point is, but I'm definitely not 100% sold that Terry's crazy efficiency numbers are sustainable. It would not at all surprise me if both have a regression to the mean.

I do think that Monk is not back to 100%, to me he's looked really off the last two games.

I don't think Monk is 100% either. He probably wasn't able to do any conditioning or lower leg workouts until like a week and a half ago. Seemed like you were reading more into it than that.

Terry and Monk could both see their efficiency decline, but this roster is also pretty much a perfect situation for their player archetype to thrive.

For me “tanking” is playing youth and prospects instead of the veterans who might be able to ensure an extra win. Not losing on purpose.

I was at that game, and it was weird to be hoping we'd lose. Darko was playing heavy minutes on the other side, so what else could we do but win?
