Porzingis for Draymond who says no?

Post#1 » by Pinkyring » Tue May 4, 2021 6:57 pm

What say you? As a mavs fan id do because Im sure we followup a deal for Horford and a 4/5 of dray and Horford strengthens our defense and playmaking. Idk how gsw would feel about this playing zinger at 4 with Wiseman

We've already had barnes. He has no playmaking ability or defensive versatility, id be fine to add him at the 3 however if gsw wanted to move him in a salary dump, then use the remaining 18m in cap on Conley or lowry, a starting 5 of conley, luka, barnes, dray, and hortford is solid as hell but its probably cheaper to bring timmy back and use the remaining money to add to the bench depth

If Klay returns to close of what he was before it seems like GS needs the D and playmaking of Draymond more than the offensive and questionable D of Porzingis.

I think most teams would take Porzingis here but Draymond in GS is likely viewed as a player that value goes beyond his stats.

I'd probably take Draymond for most teams in the league. I would imagine that GS would value Green's defense, passing, and overall competitiveness instead of Porzingis' scoring, especially if Klay returns in any decent shape.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

If I’m the Mavs I would prefer Wiseman over Draymond. Dray is reaching the end of his career. I would love him on the Mavs but not for KP.

Draymond isn't the same player anymore and he's now on the wrong side of 30. The Warriors would probably still want his fit and salary, but in a vacuum my guess is Zinger will be better over the next three seasons.

The Mavs say no if they're smart.

Warriors decline. Draymond with Steph and Klay is special.

KP for Wiseman & Wiggins?

KP as a 3rd option should be improved, MAVs get a piece in Wiseman to develop/flip.

No-brainer, Porzingis can't stay healthy and hasn't proven that he can play winning basketball at any point in his career.

This trade does nothing for the Warriors.

You have a guy who is at worst top 10 in the league and you'd prefer Wiseman, who isn't going to be useful in the next two years, over Draymond, who is one of the best playoff performers in his generation?
