At this rate, you may as well bring up Manoah after a few Triple A starts.

Jansen will be starting for 6 weeks until Kirk returns. Brutal injury for this team.

Shout-out to the people putting in work and watching Jansen ABs on live TV. I've been watching most games on PVR and even skipping through his spot is excruciating.

jansen's having the kind of season that makes you feel bad about mario mendoza the person. not sure how much longer you can keep trotting him out there. as surefire an out as there is in the entire damn league. god damn son.

Springer to the IL after taking a MRI earlier today for his "fatigue." At least the lunacy finally ended.

Always remember, though, it's not a lie if they know the truth.

Panik at 1B... now Montoyo has really lost me.

Gurriel and Biggio have been disappointing this season. Both need to be better.

Longer throws under duress are just what Bichette needs... gives him permission to really fire it while taking his brain out of the equation.

2nd time this year Ray has been beaten with sliders when his FB is dominating a team. Hope it doesn't cost them the game like the last time.

At the same time, I'll very much take a version of Robbie Ray that throws a tonne of strikes, generates Ks at a high rate, keeps most contact on the ground and gives up the occasional solo homer.

Biggio's been one of the worst hitters in the league so far this season.

I'll take a version of Robbie Ray that hasn't given up a walk in 3 starts for sure. Just throw 96mph FBs instead of hanging sliders in pitcher counts, please.

Ray really deserved a better fate. He was pretty dominant tonight.

I'll take any version of Margot Robbie.

I think pitchers figured out Biggio is below average as a hitter and just challenge him directly now instead of nibbling around the corners and letting him work walks. Biggio's future is probably more of a super utility player anyway. He's the first guy losing his starting spot when our next infield prospect is up.
