We are broken. By both the messy rotation and Winslow. Painful to watch. No chemistry, no drive, no flame.

Looking forward to the draft.

Brooks 9pts on 16 shots with 2 TO's.

Anderson 7pts on 11 shots with 2 TO's

A combined 16pts on 27 shots with 4 TO's. At least Anderson had 5 assists, Brooks who took & bricked the most shots had 1.. not going to win many games like that. Maybe Brooks should call his number again..

Not to take away from Detroit's performance but it's starting to look like the fatigue of schedule is taking hold. Every other day, B2B & after a grueling performance against the Wolves, Detroit came to play..

Jenkins should consider giving Brooks a healthy scratch .. Of all the Memphis players, he's the one that exerts the most energy & his shot/legs aren't there, can't remember when last he had an efficient shooting night.

Anderson the last few games has been getting scorched defensively.

I believe fatigue of schedule is playing part in that.

It seems that you are right. Konchar looked great tonite.

Why didn`t Jenkins then rest Brooks, Ja and Kyle? We would still have Tyus-Bane-Melton-JJJ-JV / Winslow, Tille, Clarke, Konchar

Of late Wolves have been playing some solid ball so between the Wolves & Detroit, this is the game Memphis should have won but it came on the back end of a high octane game where Memphis had to put up 140 pts to beat the current better competition.

The short handed Detroit squad brought intensity & fight to the table which Memphis could not match. Take Js's recent performances in the 3 game set vs Utah.. his worst showing came when? on the 2nd game of 3, then he went back to dominating the final match after some rest. He was big in Minnesota the night before... barely noticeable vs a shorthanded Piston team. Fatigue or inconsistency, or maybe both, not mutually exclusive?.

Knicks are a good defensive team so it's easy to think their defense was the root cause for the TO's & poor shot selection but it's become too much of a theme over the last few games to not be a fatigue factor. No team has ever had to play B2B's the entire 2nd half separated by only a days rest.

People might look at the competition level & say easy schedule, Memphis should win or else... maybe... on fresh legs.

One of the main effects of fatigue, is poor judgement. It's been a perfect storm of issues for Jenkins. Having a tired team while trying to balance a deep roster & then integrate 2 players back from year long injuries where chemistry has also now become a factor.

IMO nothing, some much needed rest can't cure.

BTW, loved the opening play last night.

Wish we had an opportunity to rest our guys before the play-in game. Instead they are traveling like crazy with no down time.
