Watch him come back to us and the pacers still stay mediocre garbage next season.

Kinda off topic but, IF Bjorkgren is diagnosed with mental health issues, do the Pacers have a responsibility to work with him to resolve it? I'm not familiar with employment law or the employment status of coaches, just wondering.

Nurse has already said he supports Nate and a lot of the stuff said about him in that bleacher report article is false.

There may be a little truth to this but seems like a sleezy FO that’s tryna put the blame on one guy. So far TJ Warren and Nurse have refuted big portions of the article.

Or the ability for Bjorkgren to sue the Pacers, Suns, ESPN, and the Athletic for libel and defamation if none of this is remotely true? Warren has refuted the accusations. Nurse called it a lie. Fred has expressed the opposite of what's been reported.

I dont know what the truth really is, but they are making Bjorkgren look like some psycho. Either his mental state collapsed while in Indy, or perhaps they are just pinning the Locker dysfunction on the Coach. I dont think we have heard these kind of stories about Nate before, by past accounts, he is a great guy, so im skeptical, but time and environment can change people. Who knows?

It's the crappy journalism trying to generate clicks on their website rather than focusing on factual truth.
I'd rather take the 2 years of non-chalant stories Nate has been with the Raptors than less than a full season he's had with Pacers. Even the way they dealt with Nate McMillan was sketchy and outta nowhere considering the success they had while he was coaching them.

Somebody in that organization is trying to drag his name through the mud. I don’t believe for a second that he’s got mental problems, nor do I believe anything else reported about him. If anything is dysfunctional on that team it is probably the FO.

He's under a contract. As long as they pay him they are fine.

Read on Twitter

From when they hired Bjorkgren. That article is complete bull, wouldn't be surprised if it were all made up.

FO just wanted to go more analytical and modern like the Raptors but didn't have the lank defenders or 3 and D players needed.

Exactly. From the BR article:

"Nate is trying to coach a team that he doesn't have," said one Pacers staffer. "He's trying to fit the system to the players and not the other way around."

They go on to talk about how Sabonis is now expected to go out guard the perimeter. He should trim his weight back down if Nate returns.

I don't read "mental illness" into the screaming allegations. Lots of famous people/politicians are notorious screamers. John McCain, Amy Klobachar to name two. But ... it can't be fun to work for such people. They have to be pretty talented otherwise.

Pritchard is like a GOAT snake GM, right up there with Isaiah.

But yeah, Sabonis shouldn't be running all over the court. Siakam's getting sick of Nurse's ****, too. If your best employees make 5-6 times more than you, they're the boss.

Never seen anything like this. Somebody is trying to get ammo to get Bjorken fired and take down Pritchard at the same time. Probably other execs in the organization that want to backstab Pritchard and make this a spectacle so the owner has no choice but to fire both of them.

To be fair he tries to play up tempo and does not have a roster that suits that style of play. He only has one year left on his deal after this season and has underperformed.

Why? Cause he worked for toronto? He only got that gig because of the front office if he’s fired so is the GM.

I wondered how he got a HC job before griffin and Scariolo. It’s not often coaches lose their jobs this suddenly he definitely has issues.

Some of you act as if you had a relationship with Nate when he was here. We know nothing about him.

You can't read that snippet of an article and conclude that Nate's mental state is blowing up. It's clearly another leak from a front office that is painting a narrative to get rid of him.
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.
