So many missed open 3s and makeable layups tonight. Tough to win if you can't make the easy shots.

The scouting book on Towns seems to be to play him with extreme physicality, because if the refs aren't making calls he'll get frustrated and do something stupid.

It's a vicious cycle. Refs don't give him calls, he gets frustrated and whines, refs hold a grudge and dont want to give him calls, teams are now seeing and this and playing him physical, he doesn't get calls, he whines, refs hold grudge, etc.

This wasn't a problem before but it is now, he needs to address but putting an end to the complaining and playing much smarter. Pete mentions his sloppy technique. Also the wolves being much better will help as the refs wont be able to let the team get destroyed on the national scene if they are playing well.

Refs would maybe give him more calls as time goes by if he wouldnt flop around and scream like a little girl all the time. Its one thing if you're a stick figure like Trae and whole different level of embarrassing if you are 7ft massive guy.

Karl, MAN UP and stop whining.

He does need to stop whinign I agree but he's not a super strong guy, Towns is strong enough but compared to other centers he's pretty weak-mediocre in size and power. That's just not his game or strength. He still needs to play smarter but he does have a ton of power.

Barring a major push this one is a done deal. No momentum and the refs are killing us.

Not excusing tonight but I really do think all of our complaining the refs has soured them against us.

I mean probably, but the refs have been bad for a lot of teams this season. They are just getting worse and worse.

Okogie is still a brutally bad offensive player. As soon as he starts dribbling a turnover is almost certain.

Beasley is definitely missed in this game.
