If you add Curry to the package maybe Indiana answers the phone.
Sabonis is 25 and on a great long term contract. No way he's traded, unless it is for an amazing package. #5 is not even close.

I’m pretty sure Clyde would include Wisemen in that package...twice if he could.

#5 for #12 and Sabonis, and if we don't get this deal done... it's Myers' and Wiseman's fault.

Tough game for us tonight with Grizz + Wolves, neither one winning is good for us. If the Grizz win, it drops us back into the play-in tournament, if the Wolves win, they jump down to the 4th lottery seed.

#5 for #12 and Sabonis would be a great deal, are people thinking we're getting ripped off? They'd definitely demand Wiseman and I think you'd have to strongly consider it if your goal is win now. Just don't expect anyone other than Wiggins to block a shot (which is our current problem anyway).

Pistons came through tonight beating the Grizz.

So nervous, there's only 1.5 games separating the #2 lotto team from #6 (Wolves currently #3), with a vast difference in pick %s relevant to us.

Huge road games coming up for Minnesota:

Sunday at Orlando
Tuesday at Detroit

Wolves and Detroit have 20 wins. Orlando, Cleveland, and OKC at 21.

A quick look at all schedules suggests a five way tie at 21 wins is in the realm of possibility if Detroit beats Minny and Minny beats Orlando.

Wouldn't it be a rare treat if we got the excitement of a playoff series AND the excitement of a 5-way lottery tie? An NBA fan's dream come true.

Personally, I feel like there's a giant drop off from 4th to 5th. Cunningham, Mobley, Suggs and Green. You can't go wrong with any one of those guys. Everyone else is Tier 2 or lower. Assuming we don't get Mobley with Minny's pick, I'd love to see Kai Jones drop to us at #16 or wherever we end up. The biggest wrench in this plan is the last five games of the season.

Seems like Minnesota is really trying to win as much as possible, rather than rest players like KAT and the other vets at this point.

It seems to me they should be gunning for the 3rd worst record if possible as that maintains the same odds of them getting a top-3 pick as if they had the worst or 2nd worst record.

I just want the pick to convey this year. Anything between 4/8 is great for me.

Next season, between KAT doesn't missing so many games, Anthony Edwards' rapidly improvement rate, and another blue chip prospect they would add with a top 3 pick, they would surely improve enough to at least contending for a playoff spot.

These ARE the Timberwolves we're talking about.
