You lost me at Cowherd

I think the Packers know Love isn’t ready to play which is different than he can’t play

Let’s hope you’re right.
I’ve watched a bunch of videos of Love. I think that he’s got enormous potential. He’s got a great arm, is athletic, intelligent, all the raw stuff is there. But he was in a no huddle spread offense. He’s never been under center and dropped back to pass. The offense he was in only ran a couple basic plays. Within each play the receivers had options for where they break in the route depending on coverage. It’s 10% as complicated as a pro offense. So he’s got so much to learn, basically starting from scratch. One other major issue - he’s athletic but seems to have no natural instincts as to when to run. Under pressure he seems to run back & to his right almost every time, then use his big arm to try to bail him out.
He needs a lot of coaching, but has the raw tools. I think in another 2-3 years we may have something.
