I have a hunch that one of these two will end up the 8th seed and Charlotte falls a bit more.

Yep Charlotte is banged up not having Bridges or Haywood currently and a tough closing schedule.

What a hard fought game between two equal teams tonight. As we saw it could have gone either way. The good thing I take away from this is the Pacers are better than Washington, Boston, and Charlotte if they get Brogdon back and Turner back would be even sweeter for the playoffs. No doubt in my mind this would have been the Pacers night if those two were able to play.

With the 11th pick, the Pacers select Gago Turner :D .

Pacers are lucky. Hopefully most will be healthy for the postseason, get to play the weaker playoffs teams.

If we can't beat those in 1 game, we have no business playing the better Eastern playoffs teams.

Thank you struggles, making us stronger :D .

The return of LaMelo is huge for them though. If you look at the gap with Chicago, I would give our good players much rest.

It's too bad. They actually looked like they really wanted this one.

Magic numbers are 3 with Bulls and 2 with Raptors. Cleveland looks like a must win.

Edit I missed that Raptors lost Saturday night so our number to knock them out is 1.

Yup. We’re up 3 games in the standings on Chicago, but Chicago owns the tiebreaker, so really, we’re only up 2 games. We’ve got 6 games left, and only Cleveland looks like it could be an easy win. They’ve got Detroit as their only one that looks like it could be an easy win.

I loved the effort. Do you really think Brogdon back will make us better? He is a great scorer, but wouldn't he take touches away from LeVert, who has been hot lately. Plus, the defense would suffer with him on the floor. I don't think it is a coincidence that we play great ball when he is not available.

You mean the guy whose signing Pritchard heralded as "an Epic Day" for the franchise? How can you say such a thing?

Of our 4 biggest contracts, I'd trade Brogdon ahead of LeVert, Turner, or Sabonis.

Raptors lost last night so a win at Cleveland guarantees we finish ahead of them. I hope our final game against them is meaningless so both teams can rest starters. It is more likely to mean something for us than them.

Magic number for a tie is 72 - ourwins + theirlosses. That works if we have tiebreaker. If not, use 73.

I’m not against trading Brogdon as long as we get equal value back to make the team a better defensive unit !

To be fair, even with his perceived flaws, Brogdon is still easily the most valuable FA the team has signed in my memory

If they decided that Brogdon isn't a good fit with the team after all, they can still trade him for a decent return

It's a tie between Brogdon and LeVert for me

LeVert has been on fire lately, so it's understandable that trading him isn't high on many people's priorities

But to do, LeVert is just as flawed as Brogdon. LeVert looks like a streaky player, and he can be a bit of a black hole on offense, I feel. His shot selection is also questionable sometimes

But if I take into account that Brogdon can likely return a much better package compared to LeVert, then yes I'd trade Brogdon ahead of LeVert as well

Brogdon is viewed as a solid PG, while LeVert is viewed as only a slightly positive asset, judging by the trade that brought him here
