Re: Award Winning Lakers Board NBA Dynasty League - Year 7
It's a ridiculous heavy wing draft with almost no good PG or bigs available(not that the Cavs need that). Except for Suggs and Mobley, Cade is not a true PG.
He's gonna be Culverised in a hurry, similar situation as to Ant's in Minny. That **** took everyone's soul that played his position.
There are at least 4-5 wings who will do that in this draft. So if you own wings from lottery teams, prepare your anus.

Re: Award Winning Lakers Board NBA Dynasty League - Year 7

...Man where to start. First off, congrats to Ty for winning the chip this year! His guys produced when they needed to and mine didn't.
Miffed at the games I missed this week though. Kyle helped pull me through last round and that was a threat to the Tank World Order so Masai punched his vacation ticket early. Ingram gets dinged up but once Zion busted a finger that was it for his season. Middleton got the Milwaukee Spa Day special on Wednesday. Thoughts and prayers to Jaden who missed his last couple of games due to a funeral. Oh and a special shoutout to the refs for ejecting DLO yelling AND-1 early on in the 3rd earlier this week.
With rosters expanding next year, I'm looking to retool a bit. Everyone is always up for discussion as usual, but there are some guys that may be the odd ones out. I'm not sure if we can start trading yet, but I'll be PMing some ideas around so check those inboxes.
Great season y'all! I'll leave y'all with this cliffhanger for next year...

To think we were one failed Ingram trade proposal away from having a different outcome. Crazy we met in the finals--that trade would have for sure been a white flag for me.
Enjoy the next 3 months with nothing going on off guys!

Select the damn lottery first and then you can take the vacay.
I can't handle 3 months without knowing what's my draft order.

Re: Award Winning Lakers Board NBA Dynasty League - Year 7
I propose we start the draft late August/Early September. After all of the things(NBA rosters) are set in place.
We are clearly moving faster now with the proceedings so we should be ok finishing it quickly.
But I need to know the order now. Please Ty.

Yeah when are you guys doing the lottery? It would be helpful to know who's picking where for trade discussions

Picking order is right above. I think it's ok and I haven't missed anything.
Lottery needs to be determined only.
If I'm getting the first pick I'm looking to move down so send me some offers for it.

Btw, after some of the champs have left, it's crazy after all these years that only 2 of us have won(KJG and Ty with 2x each).
Bunch of ringless bastards around here.

So if we make trades now is the extra roster space factored in? i.e if a pick is traded for a player, that GM doesn't have to drop anyone right?

Re: Award Winning Lakers Board NBA Dynasty League - Year 7
Before we start the draft you need to have the rights to 20 players at most. We always give out a keeper list before we officialy start the proceedings.
I for example have 22 guys now so I need to drop 2 just to start the thing, then worry about dropping some more to make room for my draft picks. The number is going to be 20, you can't start with more, so if you do trades make sure you're not over that number or else you're gonna need to drop somebody else.
But yes, if you have less than 20 players, you can trade picks for players and not need to drop anyone.
That's if we're allowed to do trades now. I'm not sure of the trading rules.
Ty might want to wait it out until we give out our keeper roster in August and the draft starts.

I feel optimistic for this offseason. Have a feeling we'll be fairly active with transactions via trades
