he just had 27 pts, 5 rebs, 3 asts, 5 stls the other day

Kind of hoping he can stay healthy and last in the NBA. Would be kind of funny if he outplayed Porter jr

I wish he was healthy and showed out more when he was with us. He never got any meaningful burn with us at all so he's still a man of mystery but glad to see him drop a random 27 out of nowhere

Speaking of random former Pistons, Bruce Brown has low key been a gamechanger for the Nets. He's basically the poor man's version of Iguodala for them, a glue guy that can kind of fill any role they need from him.

Tank game of the year tomorrow night. If Minnesota wins, (and we should lose to Denver and Miami) this gets us #2 ping pong ball slot.

we are sitting Grant, Joseph, Diallo, Plumlee, Dsj, Ellington, Josh Jackson, Mcgruder

Frank Jackson is questionable

so the lineup will be

Hayes/Lee
Frank Jackson (maybe)/ Sirvydis
Bey
Sekou/ Cook
Stewart/Okafor

Sirvydis might get the start if Frank Jackson is out.

We can't do much more to prepare for an important tank game, so hopefully Minny comes to play

We have always drafted well but our player development has sucked beyond belief until this last regime change.

I was excited when we drafted him and bummed when we cut him. He didn’t really get a chance here. Hope the best for the kid. He had a Piston demeanor. His game kinda reminds me of Mitchell’s.

Yeah, his college game had a lot of potential, but he never was able to find a groove here. Injuries just seemed to hit whenever he might be about to crack the rotation. Glad to see him hanging around the league and wish him the best.

Other than starting Lee, Sirvydis, Cook and Okafor and playing them 35+ minutes I'm not sure what else Casey can do to tank.

We have made some good picks, but for the most part the guys that didn’t work out didn’t because they weren’t good.

If he doesn't tie their shoe strings together he's failing to properly tank. Don't you get it?

Everything in the tank is leading to today’s game.

I’ll feel reasonably confident in our position if we lose.

No reason Dwane can't give us 20 minutes at the point and show the kids how he wants it done.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

It's not even low key. They're raving about him.

4 rostered players and 1 coach on the floor at all times

Tyler cook- starting point guard

Run the offense thru devidis

First 3 players to foul out get a bonus

There are lots of avenues we still have yet to try.

That might result in Adam Silver calling Casey directly during the game and saying "Come on, dude--WTF?"

Sorry, I keep forgetting that Casey should have his tranquilizer gun at the ready to pick off any Pistons players who try for an easy score :D

If fans are at game, one lucky fan gets to be a piston for a game. By playing 5 minutes in the 3rd quarter. 18 and over only.

Something to look out for. We want Denver and Miami to keep winning games so the final two will mean something to them.
With Denver winning tonight, all they have to do is beat Minnesota on Thursday for the Friday game to mean something.

The Miami game will most likely be meaningful because it's a tight cluster between them, Atlanta and the Knicks so hope they keep winning, so far so good tonight. They will be battling for home court in the 1st round or the right to avoid Milwaukee or Philly in the 1st round so they will want to win that game to place in the 4th or 5th seed.

With just 2 games left, we could still finish anywhere from 2nd to 6th.
0-2 we're guaranteed 2nd worst record
1-1 we're probably in a 3 team 21 win tie for 3/4/5
2-0 we're probably tied in the 5th/6th spot
