The first of three final home games and the first of a tough final stretch. Truly no rest for the weary. This will be the first time ever watching the Spurs at the AT&T Center for me so I'll be cheering my heart out and hopefully the crowd can help lift our guys to a much needed victory!

WHERE: AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX

Nice 146 point outing. Derozan looking like Wade out there lmao. Doubt he comes back next season though.

Einstein reportedly said, "Any man who can drive while kissing isn't giving proper attention to the kiss."

Wish I could have watched and posted, alas, I was paying proper attention to the game.

MY FIRST ONE LIVE!!!!!!!

And what an amazing game to attend!!!

Patty's game returned like a boomerang with backwind.

He led the charge with 6 of our SEVENTEEN 3s. So great to see him back in good form.

Not for nothing, but I did buy a Patty t-shirt at the game. Just saying :D

DJ and Jakob's P&R synergy has developed so well this season. If there's any good that can come from Derrick's injury, it's that DJ and Jakob develop that chemistry that Derrick and Jacob did when DJ was out. That seamlessness can only benefit us on the short and long term.

Speaking of Derrick, it's nice to see him at the games. He was as sitting at the back right where there's more room. He limped with the aid of a crutch.

Walking unassisted and without a limp was Trey who was wearing a Rodman t-shirt. Ok. He's not even in Spurs gear like Derrick. Ok. To his credit, Trey was engaged and high fiving teammates during timeouts.

The team on the bench erupted with joy and cheer and imitation when Dieng Euro-stepped his way to the basket after making the defensive play to get the ball. Fun to see all the interactions with the players that the camera doesn't show.

Before the game, there was a tribute video to Bryn. He got a nice ovation. After the game, several Spurs were on the court talking it up with him. It looked like they were teasing him a bit. Fun to see the good relationships still there.

But on the court, DeMar looked for and feasted on the match up with Bryn. So that's what that feels like on this end hahahaha!

Lonnie is suuuuuuuper quick. Like you blink and he's made two moves and is at the rim. Really impressive to see in person. He got a lot of ooooooo's and aaaaaaaa's with his beautiful finishes at the rim. To his credit, he is doing a much betteer job with his touch.

Jakob had a great game, but he does not block out well, man. It isn't getting discussed because he does so many things well, but it should. Sure it was a blowout, but his not even bothering to look for guys to bang is a pity. Strength and determination to do it are wrinkles he can add to be even more effective.

p.s. Looking at the box score I see Jakob had a near triple double with 9 points and 8 ASSISITS to along with his 10 boards and now I kind of feel bad criticizing an amazing all around game. Still, it can't hurt to improve...

He led us with 10 rebounds, but Keldon led us with 3 I boards. DJ got in there with 2. Good to see after they had publicly committees to doing more on the boards.

Keldon is REALLY strong. Guys just bounce off him and it surprises them. The only guy who stopped him was PJ Tucker. He's massive in the sense the he looks heavy and when he sets a screen it hurts. He stopped Keldon in his tracks a couple of times.

Our O flowed so well tonight. We just poured it on. We didn't waste many possession with indecisiveness or TO's. DeMar's reaction and response to what defenses and defenders give him are impressive in person. His moves are almost automatic. I thought about the hours and hours of work to get to this point. He started so raw in the league and now he has a crafty toolkit that rivals anyone else's in the league.

Devin is looking more comfortable asserting himself and looking for his own shot. His high release is unique and pretty. Great defender. His head's on a swivel and he anticipates the upcoming play well. He adjusts his body angles and foot stance to make it harder to get around.

DJ and that patented cat-like pounce for the poke away is a pure melding point of instinct and skill. His and Lonnie's speed, Keldon's strength and physicality, and the solid scoring of Patty and Rudy (who matched his sniper counterpart's efficient 19 with an efficient 20 of his own) complemented one another seamlessly. One scoring wave after another.

It's incredible to see how animated Pop is in the timeouts, during FT's, and throughout the game. He has the feel from years of experience of when to watch and when to engage. There was a whistle at one point and DJ made a triangle with his hands to Pop but Pop changed the play, raising one finger and sliding his hand down his chest. DJ relayed the play to the team raising his forefinger, and he and Jacob ran a P&R to perfection. DJ then pointed to Pop acknowledging the direction. Amazing synergy and communication. What I wouldn't do to get to see a Spurs playbook. Well in a way we do when the guys execute well. But the recognition of what to exploit by Pop and the deft execution by our players is a part of so many little details you get to see experience live.

Just a wonderful response by the whole team when the pressure was high coming into the game.

We have to make sure to keep the momentum going and working for us.

I loved every moment!
