With or without Zion. Memphis values possession & takes care of the ball, they'll win. Their sloppy play doesn't force a bad defense, good offensive team to play defense. They punish those TO's & poor shot selection which is why Memphis is one of the few teams that struggle with them..

Prove me wrong NBA & call a fair game.

If only I were a gambling man.

To say that 3rd Q was ugly... is an understatement.. Besides playing stupid they left 10pts on the FT line 2nd half.

Limping across the finish line.

Jonas fouls out 3rd Q, Memphis make something like 1 shot with 3 mins to go before back to back 3;s from Morant. Jonas returns 4th Q makes his first 2 looks & they proceed to ice him out :banghead:

I know they are tired & young but neither are excuses for playing stupid.

JJJ's last rebound won the game for us. As expected. A W on the back of JJJ's rebounding prowess.

What was the story with the FT shooting? Ja really carried us for a stretch there in the 3rd. I missed the 1st half of the game. How did JJJ look?

JJJ was ok. Not too great, not too terrible. Grizzlies need to play through Jonas more though. He gives such a good option at scoring the basket and yet sometimes he gets completely ignored. JJJ cant be such a reliable options just yet.

We have to send JJJ to the Pels for Ingram

Ingram would make 3 sub defenders in the Memphis starting rotation.

If he was all that.. why aren't Pelicans better than they are?, why aren't they better than Memphis with a supposed future HOF'er & the youngest Allstar?

They're ranked almost dead last in defense.. & it's not just Zion. Pair that with Jonas & Ja you'd probably have to put up a 130 a night.

if Memphis really want to move on from 3J. I'd flip Ingram for that top 5 pick though..

Outside of a top 5 pick. Only young player I'd trade 3J for (possible or not), is Brown.

One word. Fatigue.

Those 10 missed FT's came 2nd half. When Jonas fouled out 3rd Q Memphis had 1 made bucket at the 3min mark before Ja hit 2 3's. Jonas & the bench gave them a spark 4th Q but id didn't last long, Memphis gutted it out.

It doesn't get any better because that was the 1st of 4 in 5 nights..

If Memphis get sluggish, If I were Jenkins, I'd sit the players & sacrifice a strategic game & give them potentially a 2 day rest.

Morant with his thin friame & aggression is showing the most. He was 0-5 from the FT line second half if I'm not mistaken,

What was their schedule 40 games in 60 nights?.. They're showing the effects of that. I just hope none get injured as a result.

Totally agree about giving our guys rest if we can. Would help a ton plus we are a lock for the play-in.
