What ?? That’s a turnover if he throws a lob, especially to get that pass off he would likely be jumping of his back foot to see over the defense. Rose and Randle are not wide enough on the wing . The spacing was **** after the play broke down. It is what is , we didn’t execute on the play, move on to the next .

i think he should have gone to the rim. he'd have missed the layup but it would have been a better attempt than what happened. we didn't need a 3

RJ had a bad game but it happens.

He has still been putting up close to 19/6/3 on 44/42/76 shooting with 55% TS post allstar break. I will take that kind of progress.

Is he a #1, #2, #3, #4? Who even cares right now? Plenty of time to figure that out and no need to rush to judgment after every game. Of course he has flaws but he will keep getting better.

To even have a player 20 years old with his kind of potential (regardless if he was a top 3 pick) is so **** special for this franchise. We've missed or had bad luck with so many picks. .... We are finally being rewarded for all our miserable suffering

Yea, even a lot of the greats failed before they had success. The failures just motivated them and pushed them harder to improve. It was a tough game we probably should have won against a more experienced team that won it all in a playoff atmosphere. Think the younger players can at least learn from this one

Yea so that's the route I thought he was taking which is ridiculous.

all this RJ hate for the last play is just stupid, Rose gave it to him with 5 seconds left and 3 Lakers in front of him.. he tried to use a screen and nothing opened up so he had to chuck it.

The rest of the game he was horrible and just didn't have it tonight, it is what it is.

He could have passed to Randle who was right next to him calling for the ball. Go watch the replay.

Like I said, RJ had no where to go. Once the original play's timing was off and Reggie didn't get to the corner, it was all clogged up the middle, Taj sets a screen on RJs wrong strong hand, and Randle just standing out there with 3 seconds left at the 40 foot line along with Rose behind the arc too.

Yeah y'all suck. This one hurt but our star player just out played AD in his building and Rose and everyone else who played left it all out there. 3-3 on that road trip is fine. Still control our destiny. If we go 2-1 in our last 3 we probably get in the 4-5. I'm not sweating it too much. Have a feeling this team responds well and goes 3-0 in 3 winnable games.

He had no room to get to the rim The spacing was effed. No matter which side he went either Rose or Julius's man would have swiped and drummond would have been there to help. The problem was he panicked and backed up when the play broke down and lost sense of time and space. He either should have quickly gave it to Julius or rose when nothing was there or at the very lest tried a side step 3 from closer in once he realized he was going to have to shoot it.

It's ok he's 20 this is what he has to go through to learn. He's quite literally never been in that scenario in a game that felt like that. That was a playoff game for all intents and purposes.

Eh it’s a close game. We had a dozen of these tru out this season. But the thing that irritated me is RJ and reggie scrubbing it up at the same time. Usually when burks was around, you had either a burks game or a bullocks game. But now that burks is sideline, RJ has to fill up the catch and shooter role. He done a fine job so far. Just unlucky that both of them stunk it up.

It’s over, on to the next game and so they say. Get well soon IQ, we need that instant 3.

Quick note: Even in this miserable game Obi done good. And what a surprise game from Frank. Its confusing how shook he look two games ago, like he was shaking physically on the court, then look calm and focus on the next.
