also obi has played defense well enough that thibs has to see randle/obi frontcourt, even if it's for 2-3 minutes.

not his fault rj and bullock missed open 3’s. Randle was really the only reason why we were in this game. he carried us on both ends.

this reminds me of the old melo games where people complained about him. sure, randle made some mistakes. he also was the only reason we were in the game and was easily the best player on either team.

Rose and dare I say Frank also played major roles. But really those were the only 3 to show up.

But yes getting on Randle when he also was tasked with stopping AD all game...can't do it. He was great last night.

Noel, Bullock, and RJ get this L. Along with Elf...but he takes an L every game.

RJ has an off night and he's a bust again and the reason we lost? Rose and Randle tossed that game away going hero ball in the closing minutes of the fourth. Forcing things and coming up short. They weren't passing the ball to anyone else. Period. The game was lost then and there. Not RJ...not Bullock...not any other player. Even Elfturd gets a pass...even though the team always has to fight out of that hole he puts them in. The did. And they choked it away. Randle/Rose served this game to the Lakers in a silver platter.

And what was Randle and Rose supposed to do?? No one else was hitting their shots. if we had iq or burks prob woulda been a different turnout. Sidenote.. I know he has the extension and LeBron doesn't seem like he's going to retire soon, but man eff Karl Towns I would die to pair AD and Randle. Those 2 would be an amazing frontcourt. Randle stretching the floor, playmaking, getting the worst big on the other team to feast on. AD pick and roll with our guards

Towards the end I was only interested in what Mal had to say and Rory's dark humor Joe's entertaining but he's not actually that interesting imo.

When Frank is locked in, he fills so many holes for us and can pretty much wall off a side of the floor defensively by himself.

There have been so many crazy circumstances, and games lost by opponents early when we had no covid absences at the start of the year. We hit a bunch of teams who just didn't play their players (Bucks), Trae sprains his ankle and we come back to win a key head to head. So much opponents bad shooting luck this year. I think we're a very fake 4-5 seed. Now the injury luck isn't going our way with Mitch, now Quickly and Burks. In a normal 82 game season assuming Randle and RJs progress was the same I think we'd be lucky to be an 8th seed in the East.

hey remember way earlier in the season it looked like he was finally putting it all together and I hopped on the Frank bandwagon and then it all went down hill...(melo curse? Lol)

but yeah man. when he’s locked in, he is as good as it can get for a 3 and D guy and every team could use that. hopefully he keeps this up. would be huge for him to step it up in the playoffs too.
