No Joe Harris, but great news on Harden.

I'm still pissed about Kyrie. Literally we are on half away from being healthy and that idiot has to elbow Kyrie in the face.

I'd think at least 2. They were pretty cryptic with KD.

Joe badly needed rest. He was exhausted last night. He's been the constant this year. Hope it's just a maintenance thing and not an actual injury.

Not getting my hopes up for Harden until he plays a full game. We're already had one game where he played 4 minutes then sat. Another game where he hurt himself in warm up. Let's get him 24 minutes tonight then take it from there.

looking at the standings. 2 seed seems to mean less with miami moving up to #4.

3 seed would mean hawks or knicks, not heat or (pre brown injury) celtics.

I low-key hope we end up 3 seed and play the knikcs. that would be fun. their fans would be so triggered

I pray that Harden is closer to 99% than anything. Really really can't have a setback this late.

Minutes restrict his ass!!!!! No excuses

Miami still has 76ers and Bucks to play they could easily lose one and be back in 6th, best not mess around. I hope we bring all 3 tonight at least on minute restrictions. If Kyrie is ok of course, masked like an avenger.

Miami has Bucks at 100% and Philly that rested Biid last night. Miami being 6 seed is more likely imo. Than again Bucks might take a night off, doubt they want Heat as a first round match up, but counting on nix to win out is laughable too.

Damn i missed your post :tooth

Yeah I'm on board with playing big 3 from now on. If Harden or KD will get hurt than its over anyway. Match ups won't make much difference.

Of course it would've been nice to see Saltics or Nix in a first round instead of Miami. Will allow us manage Hardens min so he can get into game shape. Trolling them will be cherry on top.

I think Nash reads these posts lol. I literally posted yesterday about joe needing a rest because he’s the only player to play every game and he looks tired. Lol

Our injury report all season has been like a Wagner opera, nothing ever truly 100% resolves.

I'm still praying for KAI, sitting tonight was the responsible decision. Hopefully he's healthy and playing Saturday.

For tonight, I'm cautiously optimistic for Harden's return. Durant will need to lead the way on no rest. The Spurs go small like us, and are relentless on the glass. Poeltl is a defensive anchor, and super efficient offensively. Popp is always a threat, we'll need to dig deep with tired legs, let's go!

Of course Mr. Softee, Aka Kyrie, is sitting out as I knew he would.

If he has a broken bone in his face I apologize. If not, Bruce Brown is playing with a broken nose.

IOW's man the ---- up and PLAY.

1. We only have a precious few games left to get the BIG 3 on the floor together before the playoffs.

2. That #2 seed, especially with Boston hurting, is of vital importance. Blowing it now would be a BIG HIT.

I respectfully disagree.

If he can play Saturday, he could have played tonight.

These last few home games and holding on to that 2 seed is huge. It's MAN-UP time, not Mr. Softee time.

PS. Bruce Brown is out there playing with a broken nose.

Iam thinking Harden is 100 percent but he might not push it hard the first half. We need to jump on them early though and hold them down. This is not a good team to play catch-up with. They get swagger and have one of the best coaches in the league. I think Durant should be aggressive out of the gate. When they start doubling him unleash the Harden wrecking ball flanked with our rim runner and corner shooters. Hit them first.

What an idiotic post.

Its not up to Kyrie whether he plays or not. The Nets training staff would rather be cautious with this type of injury.

What if he gets hit again and it gets worse?

Why not give him a few more days to heal and then play with a mask?

With is the rush to bring Kyrie back when we have Harden and were playing a bad team anyway. You make no sense.

Agreed. Best to be as cautious as possible and get these guys into the playoffs completely healthy.

We need to sweep this home-stand to close out the season and maintain the #2 seed, because one of Boston's two best players is hurt, REALLY HURT, not some BS black-eye or bloody nose or whatever, and we can't count on the Bucks losing another game, we need to take care of our own business and win these last three games because the Bucks have the tiebreaker.

That said, I suspect it's generational. I come from a generation when you couldn't keep players off the court or the field, especially in games that really mattered, unless their injuries made it impossible to play. I saw Jack Youngblood play in the NFC Championship Game with a broken leg. I saw Ronnie Lott cut off the tip of his broken pinky, wrap it up and get right back in a post season game. I saw Michael Jordan play in the finals with 104 fever, and the list is endless.

I'm sorry, but IMO this generation is soft. No way in hell they would have sat this game out tonight because they had a boo-boo on their faces. They would have been ASHAMED to sit this game out over some BS like that. They would have been marked by their peers as SOFT, and if the trainers or even HC told them not to play, they would fight (argue) about it.

There are exceptions, like Bruce Brown playing with a broken nose, but Kyrie isn't one of them.

Oh well, we just have to win without him ... AGAIN.
