Today's key games:
Pacers at Cavs
Wizards at Hawks
Pelicans at Grizz

The first game is interesting in that either result helps one Magic pick or the other.

Then you have Indiana, with a healthy Warren and Turner. Charlotte with a healthy Hayward and 20 year old Ball. The Raptors with like 60m in cap room. Wizards with Westbrook, Beal, and a healthy Bryant. Boston will probably be healthier in a normal season.

All those other teams have 1st round picks too

yea but if bulls add a top 4 pick and have vuc and lavine all yr and there guys playing together for a yr..i dont see bottom 7 team..plus anything they trade for unseen
They have like a 25% chance for a top 4 pick, plus those guys have never won before. You could make a case that many teams in the east should be better after they've had more time playing together. Ball/Hayward, Westbrook/Beal, Trent/VanVleet.

Although I have criticized the Vuc/LaVaine paring i do believe the bulls will be a better team next season. They may not be championship caliber but with an opportunity to actually build around their two stars in the off-season they should be better. So I would rather the pick convey this year than next.

yep, i see them addressing their new needs based on the team now during the offseason and them being better record wise.

Don' t they also have money to get a key FA like Ball? So a seasoned and meshed LaVuc pairing, an experienced high rookie in PatWill plus a key FA would ensure they get a better record next year...

Yup let's hope we get the pick this year.

Hopefully I don't curse it but OKC is currently up against SAC town and Minn also won. If OKC can hold that would place the magic with the 3rd worse record.

It's ridiculous how seriously they took the tank. At one point I believe they had a shot at a play in spot then they started sucking, lol.

The Hawks De’Andre Hunter is to miss the Wizards game for, and I quote, "scheduled maintenance". And then he is scheduled to play the Magic. So a rested Hunter for the Magic game.

here in Atlanta on the radio, they really want Hunter rested for the playoffs. i would say its more than "scheduled maintenance" for him, since he has missed 24 games before the 13 mins 2 nights ago.

Well can't fault them. After all that moves in the offseason they really need to make a big splash in the POs. Hunter's defense is a must for them in the wings when teams grind it out already.

I watch a few OKC games and they might be the worst tanking team I’ve seen in years.

Read on Twitter

OKC's tank since Presti decided to go all in on tanking has been legendary.

Yeah, it's been pretty overt. They had no shot at a top 3 pick a few months ago but look at them now.

For me OKC is so bad, it is hard to see how the team can recover. I expect Gilgeous-Alexander to have a PPG line that exceeds the Thunder's win total.

The Thunder is an irrelevant team to the NBA's bottom line. So I cannot think Silver is loosing sleep here, until the Thunder win the lottery. Then: whoops.

For me the problem here is the OKC fans. This might be the team most "willing" to move. Does the Las Vegas Thunder sound OK? It has a nice rind to me.
