We are currently playing a group of players .... All of which prior to the trade dead line were 2nd ... Or 3rd stringers.... Or even yet.... Weren't even on a team. Ross... out for the season.... mcw... haven't heard his name to the point that I wonder if he's still on our team. Chuma out for the rest of the season. Not much you can to get worse. But the coaches and players that are still here are playing for their jobs and futures. Some of these players are trying to show they deserve minutes next year... Which could lead to trades in the off season of the more expensive players.... players are also auditioning for other teams if they aren't retained. Coaches are trying to figure out what they have going into the summer.

Do you think RJ is thinking... "Man... Lemme play worse so that the magic can get green.... And then I'm even deeper on the bench"... Nope it's... "Lemme show what I can do so that I can put my flag in the ground"

And if that leads to random wins .. so be it.

But yes... I would rather lose all games... In respectful manners. Lol

if you want me to be honest i could care less what the players are thinking....i'm a fan, i just want the team to be relevant again....i'm happy RJ and these young guys are on the team but real talk theres only so much i'm going to feel for these millionaires....i'm thinking about the long game and if we can shorten our rebuild and get back on track to relevancy.....the fastest way to do that is to get star talent.

Of course they would (and should)...unless you’re elite at what you do, you’re at risk of being replaced by the next option presented...and the guys playing at this point of the season are playing for their NBA lives...no one wants to be the slowest zebra in any organization.

So.... then.... year to year.... you're always fighting for your position.... So why would you not do your best on a nightly basis ... because you're always being evaluated by not only the team you play for... but you're auditioning for other teams as well... for trades/free agency etc. And yes... i get it.... We think Green is going to be great.... but to be honest there are still no guarantees. If what we currently have is showing potential to be good to great.... you have to take a look at that. This isn't saying that i don't want a player such as green to be select ... I would love to add as much talent as possible... but not at the expense of the growth of others. It's not like you can be selective and turn off talent so that you can lose. As i've said... i would love all of our players to show promise while still losing... but if errant wins occur.... so be it.... such is life.

Mainly because Denver was over the cap, so the Magic had to take back near matching salary by sending out Gordon?

TBF to the chief, coming into the league he was the prototypical SF/wing. Thats what I thought of him as well... until we signed him and i saw how he bulked up and slowed down lol
