KAT is a loser why would anyone want him on this team? we need spacing and playmaking (good backup Guard) and KAT would be not playable vs smaller lineups..

CP3 completely transformed Phoenix (and previously the Thunder), but of course he's a HoFer
if we can get a cheap'ish veteran point guard that would be great. Kyle Lowry, Derrick Rose, Jeff Teague, Patty Mills
Lowry sounds too good to be true. He would not come cheap and if he did, the Clippers and Lakers are probably a bit higher on the needed scale unless Warriors do something shocking in the PS.

Re: What players should the Warriors go after next season
I'm coming around on the Turner idea. He can help Dray rim protect, finish lobs, and hit 3s. Sabonis is too soft on D for my liking.
It'll probably cost you Wiseman and the Minny pick (conveyed) which is good for Indy's presumed rebuild.
Trade would have to agreed upon in principle prior to the draft so the Warriors take who Indy wants. Warriors need to sign the pick prior to the trade to make money work and wait out the trade restriction window before the trade can be executed.

Wrong list. Change "2022" to "2021" in the link.
Don't think Lowry is gettable. Going to Philly makes too much sense for him.
Maybe Dragic if Miami moves on from him.

With Wiggs, Dray, Klay, and Draymond. Having a high usage C isnt the best fit. But a low usage, switchable, rebounding, and shotblocking C is.
Wise can still have a role as the big with the second unit with poole because Noel can also play PF and cover alot of what wiseman cant do on the defensive end.
While Looney continues to do Looney things, but on less minutes to save him from injuries.
If Noel is starting and Wiseman is coming off the bench when does Draymond play at the 5 for arguably our best lineup?
By signing Noel and keeping James you're signing up for next-to-no Dray at the 5 minutes. Unless you are severely cutting Noel or Wiseman's minutes to 10ish and removing Looney from the rotation entirely I'm just not seeing how this mathematically works.
If we're talking MLE, I would not spend it on Noel and keep James. I would do one or the other of those things, though.

I think some success in this year's playoffs could help us land players as well....even a second round exit.

I've been saying that from the beginning, but people were blinded by Lavar hate.Currygoat wrote:So I’m guessing that you guys don’t think teams are to high on wiseman too??? Man we should of drafted Melo he would fit in perfectly for us
It's too late to cry on it though. We have Wiseman and we have to deal with it.
For next season I wouldn't mind getting some of the Pacers core. Brogdon and Turner is a package I like. Sabonis would be a dream. The Pacers seemed willing to entertain trade discussions at the deadline so it may not be out of the realm of possibility, but it will cost.
Wiggins + Wiseman + Minnie's pick + our pick could maybe get us Sabonis and Brogdon if Minnie's pick falls at the #4. If not, it would lose much value and probably Indiana wouldn't want to give away Sabonis.

If the Minny pick is 4 there's no way we should trade it.

For a proven all star like Sabonis, I would trade it. You have no guarantee the drafted player is becoming an all star and even if he does, not quickly enough to help win a championship during Curry's prime.
Sabonis is locked at 19 millions per year for the next 3 seasons and he's an absolute beast. He's only 25 so you're not trading for an old player, he still even has room to improve.

I like Mobley, Cade, and Green a lot. If Suggs is there I'll trade it, if it's the other 3 no way. The upside on Mobley Cade and Green are too great. Sabonis is great and would fit really well here and fits the Curry's timeline. I just worry about his defense. Will he be able to switch everything, would we have to change our defense to integrate him in. Will he be able to hold up 1v1 against cp3, dame, lebron?

Porter is a pending FA and cant be traded in the offseason. Warriors can't do S & T acquisitions next fiscal year due to hard cap restriction.

Thanks. How far over the hard csp are they? Just curious.

Re: What players should the Warriors go after next season
I like Brogdon but after seeing Jrue’s price tag, I think it could be very costly. But the ability to pass, shoot and defend would play an important role here so Curry can play off ball a lot and Klay can ease in. Turner would have been great to go after last season when his value was so low but he had a good season and is a positionally locked C.
I think a big guard with some point skills and decent scoring efficiency like Satoransky is worth inquiring about to help lead the bench / play alongside Curry so Klay can ease back in.

As Hopper mentioned cant do that trade.
And I wouldnt do it if I could.
OPJr and MCW are guys Id be interested in for or super cheap. Interested in Ross for fairly cheap. Not interested in giving up Wiggins. Might be willing to give up something for Ross, but salary could be an issue.

Someone like Ross would be something to want back if you signed and traded Oubre.
