Today's key games:
Raptors at Bulls
Kings at Grizzlies
Nuggets at Timberwolves

The first game is essentially determinant to lock the Bulls-pick is at the 8-slot (Bulls win) or if there is any chance for a tie for 7/8 (Raptors win and Toronto is still 1-game back in the W column).

wof Oladipo's career seems to be heading into Brandon Roy's direction. Being done for good before 30.
it's crazy how fast players break down . I mean... we have 26 years old Harris and 28 years old Porter and they seem to be broken for last 2 years . Makes you appreciate your health more.

I almost feel sorry for CHI...in a league of scheming tankers, during a season of no revenue from fans, they took their shot... and they won’t even see the play-in.

Almost

Lavine missed 11 out of 26 games after a trade and that killed their season.
Not to mention not adressing biggest issue, PG spot.

From their perspective, they are either keeping pick, or Magic draft 8th or 9th. Very smart protection of a pick.

For Chicago's perspective if that pick is outside the top 4 it was disaster. Imagine if it ends up at #5 :o

It's the biggest gamble of all. They get the top4 pick and they are a middle-to-top PO team in the east. They got an allstar player and a potential all star-to-superstar incoming talent. They don't then they have no future and just hope their existing pieces are enough.

Cleveland still very much in their game vs Washington, that would be a nice buffer
I still believe in Magic! Welcome to the Franz & Paolo era

I cannot image that, as if the pick is out of the top-4, the highest it can be is 8.

Can't. Either top 4 or 8th, 9th or 10th

So...only the first three are "picked" and then the rest fall in line accordingly?

Picks 1-4 are drawn and then everyone else falls in line based on record.

Orlando’s best case scenario is losing tonight with Detroit and Oklahoma City both winning. That would put the Magic in a two-way tie with the Pistons for 2nd worst record.

Orlando’s worst case scenario is winning tonight and then having Oklahoma City, Cleveland and Minnesota all lose. That would put the Magic in a three-way tie for the Wolves and Cavs for 4th worst record.

Can't. Either top 4 or 8th, 9th or 10th

11 and 12 too, in case 4 teams jump ahead, which is totally unlikely.

The absolute worst outcome is for the Bulls to win and the Pelicans and Kings to lose. Then in this 8/9/10 tie, for the Bulls to lose the pre-lottery lottery and slot 10. THEN have four of the 11-15 teams go top 4 (which would suck for the Magic pick also), resulting in the Bulls pick conveying at 14.

Yes Magic fans: the Bulls pick can mathematically slide to 14. At least as I write this.

Can one imagine being a Thunder fan today?

ALEKSEJ POKUSEVSKI has a PER of 5.88; he scored 20+
JOSH HALL has a PER of minus-0.38; he scored 20+
and MOSES BROWN scored 20+

Anyone on Earth who wagered that the Thunder would have three 20 point players this game would be classified as mentally unstable. But there you go.

Pokuševski has shown lot of talent tho.
Guy started nba season at age of 18. Guy weights 190 pounds at 7 foot. He is so phyiscally underdeveloped that only way how he can score is via true talent. And yet, 5 times this year he scored 20+ points, 12 times he had at least 4 assists, 9 times grabbed at least 8 rebounds.

He should have been 2021 draft prospect.

yeah, but is it the much bandy'd, volume pts on a bad team? he is an absolute horrible shooter. is he just scoring because the rest of the team is worse than a G-League team?

look at him, guy needs to add 50 pounds. But fluidity he moves at 7 foot is super unique and impressive.
