More like 2 years ago. Harris is playing like 4th year Norm.

If he goes for 20+ again on Sunday and shoots over 40% I'm going to say that's as consistent as what Norm was doing last year.

Why do people do this? Fr just let the guy play and stop comparing him to other players. Your post is also super disrespectful to how good Norm was last season.

In terms of promise for the future? Definitely. But I'm so impressed with how many facets to his game he already has available. He picks up some crafty assists, ends up with more boards than you think, already shoots well from range (Norm took a couple of years to become a great 3pt shooter), can drive, plays the PnR...

Did not expect this out of #59

He’s definitely not as good as norm was last year. But it took forever for norm to get rid of his tunnel vision. At 22 Harris seems to have already got that part figured out.

Also looks to be a better passer than norm ever was. Never remember seeing norm make that pocket pass in the PnR Kyle Lowry style

Also gives us an idea why Masai and nurse were ok with moving out from Matt Thomas and TD

Come on, just look at this! The handles!!! He has better handles than TD and Trent. FVV and Lowry can't even do that with their lack of length.

It’s crazy but we might have our bench for next year. Flynn/Harris/Trent/ Boucher/Birch. But undersized but loads better compared to this year.

It'll be the best since FVV/Delon/Norm/Pascal/Poeltl.

Harris (and Flynn) are part of the future.

But we keep having these same awful "why Raptors trade him?"
Threads..
Jesus..they traded him because not smart on/off court as well as being hot/cold as any player.

He is a rfa
Plus sjnce he is 2way raps can qualify him with a 2 way contract so his cap hold will be negligible. 50k to be exact.

Yeah, that was Norm's Go Daddy Curse year. He didn't practice with those guys in the summer, for some reason I can't remember. And they developed a chemistry with each other and became the team's go-to unit without him.

Crazy in retrospect to think that Norm was an 11th man on that team. But man, was he playing badly.

Add a lottery pick, and cap room to sign a FA (s).

Yep, zero chance a team makes Harris any kind of competitive offer given a) the uncertainty around his game and b) his RFA status.
