I have no clue why McCollum is out there right now.

I just don't want to face the CLippers.

hopefully the clips win as it looks like we will fall into 6

If the Clippers win and we win, means Denver loses, and Dallas loses and the Lakers win, we'd face the Clippers in a 3/6 situation.

sorry i meant to say hopefully they lose

Clippers down 1 in a game where Kawhi and PG have played 0 minutes.

It does look like the Clippers//Thunder are going down to the wire. Do we want the Clippers to lose
or win?

Clippers lose. That locks Denver into 3 and Clippers into 4. Means we want the sixth seed if we want to avoid the Clippers, meaning we need the Lakers to win. If they lose we vault over Mavs and face the Clippers.

Lakers are up 10 over the Pelicans right now.

I think we can fairly safely call it now, we will face denver who doesn’t seem too scary minus murray. Honestly jamal is probably the most scary/ killer instinct nuggets player in the playoffs imo despite jokic’s obvious superior talent level.

It does look like the Lakers will win but Lebron seems to have stepped on someone's foot and came
up lame.

lakers will not do much this year, lebron isn’t nearly healthy enough and without him they are barely a playoff team if they’re lucky. Maybe they can get to the semis with lebron at 50 percent but their hopes rely solely on him recovering quickly and it seems like that’s a long shot in 2021

While it’s likely we do not face them as it’d take us going to the wcf, man i wouldn’t want to face the warriors in the playoffs even as an 8 seed. The way they’re looking and with lebrons health concerns i think it’s very apparent the dubs will be the tougher out barring a nearly impossible miraculous lebron recovery

Indeed in a one game series, Steph gives the GSW a real chance at anyone in the west. I'd likely pick the GSW over the
Lakers if Lebron is hurt (again).

Very impressive, The Blazers close the season winning 10 of their last 12 games. Once again this team steps up to close the season and has one of the best records over the final 12 games.

Pretty insane this came off a horrible stretch where the Blazers lost 9 of their previous 12 before that.

This blazers team seems to be really finding its groove at the right time. I really look forward to what should be a fun first round. I like our chances. With Murray healthy and playing i’d give denver a decent advantage but truly the way we are playing and with Denver missing a huge player it’ll be super competitive and we have a real shot to take it

it’ll be interesting to see what it takes for stotts to keep his job. I think it’d probably take the wc semis and if we get there it’s probably fair for us to keep him assuming it’s not a 4 game sweep type of second round

I wonder if the playoff powell raps fans have talked about appears as if that occurs we could really make noise in the west in a year where there is so little parity. The legend of “playoff powell,” if there is one, would give us a third “all star” and probably a real shot to win the west in the playoffs. It’s not likely but hey one can dream right? :P

Something to consider. This will be the healthiest the Blazers have entered the playoffs in years( I believe since the year Dame hit the series winner with 0.9 seconds vs Houston)

Yup and unlike last year (i know houston series was more like 5 years ago, just was referring to our composition in 2020 in general) Kanter gives us a better shot in the post season specifically when it comes to having big bodies in the playoffs against this jokic led attack. I really like our chances if Nurk and Kanter by committee can keep Jokic from having anything much more than his season averages. Denver will need to play Jokic 42 MPG, he will get tired legs and i have a feeling Nurk/Kanter by committee match Jokic pretty closely and our guards do their usual leading to Portland in 6 but hey why do i know?

We were healthy the year Pelicans swept us. Last year we were down Collins and Hood, which is about the same as this year. Hood doesn't amount to much.

I agree this is our best team since early 2000's.

That's why we picked up JaVale McGee, not only can he give a decent defensive effort while Jokic rests, he does have some good playoff experience to bring to the table. Remember he's got more championship rings than the rest of both rosters.

We were also down Ariza and Little last season which is why Trent had to guard LeBron. I will admit that the team was healthy vs the Pelicans though as I recall that was the year Dame was hurt down the stretch and had to come back early for the team to clinch a higher seed and was less than 100% for the playoffs.
