Irwing is the 9th player in nba history to record 50/40/90.. he needed to shoot perfect from three to achieve the feat and shot 3 for 3. CP3 was pretty close to at 49.9%/39.5%/93.4%

Clippers losing (impressive tankjob) is good for us any way you look at it. If GS pulls it off (and they have a good chance in a 1 game series) we have a great road to the WCF. I get being scared of GS too, but this is nowhere near the championship team. No Thompson/Durant, and the supporting cast other than Green is a bunch of jabronies.

So low volume 3pt shooters who can hit 40% who are also good from 2 have a better chance.

Curry, for example, shoots over 57% from 2 and over 42% from 3, but he takes more 3s than 2s, so his overall FG% is 48.3%. If he simply shot fewer 3s, he'd hit it...91.8% from the line too.

And ya I know the 40/50/90 thing only looks at basic NBA stats. Basically all records only use basic stats.

Yes, that's what I usually use...usually TS% when assessing efficiency. I just think what people call the 50/40/90 club is flawed.

I'd imagine so. I've been getting games with Youtube TV. Everything should be local going forward. Worst case, it's so easy to find streams these days that, if these TV companies are going to be a-holes about letting us watch, I'm just going to find a streamer instead.
