More like, think about it this way. Who's making the decisions in Georgia vs. New York.

Besides, they can fill out their arena more, but it still will not feel like the Garden does - even at 10% capacity.

Anyway. They can fill out their arena more, but it still will not feel like the Garden does at 10% capacity.

That's true, however, if we had a bit more than 10% our home court advantage gets significantly stronger. Just annoying that Covid impacts our advantage.

We're lucky it's Atlanta, their stadium will have more people but the crowd will have many Knicks fans.

I thought the Garden capacity was going to be upped to 30%?

This says starting May 19th MSG can be at 25% capacity, although I could've sworn I heard on the telecast it was going to be 30%. ESPN got lazy and used the current allow capacity.

To be fair, the Knicks are actually ahead in the poll on the Hawks board.

How do they even decide on those numbers? Wouldn't it be easier to just allow everyone who is fully vaccinated into the arena?

I think this team is gassed. Been playing must win for a month and their stretch schedule was brutal. I submit that no team (other tha maybe Brooklyn) will benefit fro the week’s rest. I think a lot of the ragged edges have been from flat out exhaustion and nagging injuries. Knicks will be primed after the layoff. Enjoy the play ins. Our boys will be in suspended animation hyperbaric chambers.

do you guys not think we wont have a presence in ATL for the road games???

My guess its probably close to a 50-50 split in ATL between knicks and hawks fans.

There is a big knicks presence down south when we play ATL/Mia/Cha...I would guess since we haven't been in the playoffs since 2012-2013 season there will be a big presence down there on the road.

Its probably actually cheaper to get a flight to ATL and by a post season ticket for the game there then buy a playoff ticket at MSG

Trae wont be getting those foul calls in the playoffs , Deandre Hunter will be an xfactor because Gallo looks gassed . Nerlens vs Capela is kinda lopsided but Randle can get him foul trouble. Congrats tho guys yall deserve it for stayin loyal to ur ball club. Out of the LA youngings i was 100% convinced Ingram would be the superior player of the group ..Randle came outta left field and made alot of us look silly , eapecially luke walton who was using him as a super sub plagin 25min lol what a clown .

https://www.espn.com/nba/stats/player/_/stat/free-throws/table/offensive/sort/avgFreeThrowsAttempted/dir/desc

Trae Young is 3rd in the NBA in Free Throw Attempts per game at 8.7 per game.

Will the playoffs bring more physical play without more foul calls? That is a huge aspect that could work in our favor.

I think I'm more worried about Capela at this point. His rebounding and ability to grab lobs from Trae is going to be a major problem.
