It was fun all things considered.
39 different line ups. In any other Nets season, this amounts to disaster. This year, we simply conceded the #1 seed by 1 game and finished the regular season winning 5 straight.

what a way to end the season. Crazy off the glass alley oop by Mike James to KD. Kyrie is now in the 50/40/90 club, INSANE !!! I am geeked for the playoffs. Finally got to witness my favorite team be a powerhouse and a favorite to win the title. Never thought I would see this day come. Let's get this chip boys !!! Incredible season.

I want the smoke too. It's time to end this. They brought this on themselves.

I'm so proud of this team, from ownership to management, coaches to players. They stuck together all season, stayed connected when there were a thousand reasons for infighting and division.
Now it's money time. We're getting healthier and improving our defense, we even have a favorable path. Our stars all have the clutch gene in their DNA, I'm excited to cheer it on!

My only concern is... if Harden at least 80%. If he can give us 25 min, we winning chip.
KD became a good team player, last few games he showed me enough. I don't worry about Bucks or Philly. LBJ and LA will be there, we going to need Harden and DJ.

Awesome way to end with that Griffin - James - Durant highlight to punctuate a turbulent season. This is a team in serious contention to bring home the chip. We now have a full week to prepare and our big 3 should be 100 percent healthy to start this epic run. Love everyone here !

The lakers arent making it to the finals. they would need to beat the jazz/suns/clippers they are done in the first round. they really arent a good team.

Lakers will face PHX in the first round. They'll spank them.
Than it's Dame. That Blazer team can't check me on D. They score a lot though. Fully healthy, I don't know... they will give them a run for their money.
Jazz is fluke in my opinion. They can shoot and they were hot most of the season. If Spida and Conley healthy they ain't easy out. Meaning also they already beat Kawhi led LAC.
LAC is Lakers cryptonight. Them ducking them though making me think they don't want to see LBJ. Can they win? I got LBJ simply because you don't duck.
I got Lakers coming out. Dont see anyone taking them out now. Those are good regular season teams, not playoff build though.

I dont think the Lakers can beat the suns. The lakers are a really flawed team. They have no center they can roll out. which makes them play small. if they go big, their biggest asset, their defense, gets compromised. they have no one outside LBJ/AD to rely on. They have no back court outside schroeder, who is poor offball and doesnt impact the game when lebron is on the floor, which in the playoffs is 40 minutes.
They need to hope Morris plays like a stud. and that Lebron can give them 35/15/8 for several long series.
i dont see how they get to the finals.

Great way to cap off a memorable season. I must have watched the replay of that play at least 20 times now. Also loved Harden in full bring on the playoffs mode with his smoothie.
Fully healthy and ready for the real games to start. Fitting that the Cavs were here for both of the low point of this season and also the high point of this season.

Sorry I just got to this.
I meant in terms of missing out securing thev#1 seed
We run into a possible path of vs bucks & 76ers en route to finals
Where as #1, only one of those two would be a matchup

I'm not really understanding this comment. In fact, I'm counting a variety of bigs on their roster, which doesn't necessarily mean they have an "ace" outside of AD, but should let the Lakers mix and match to a degree that most teams aren't able to. That may not be everything, but it's not nothing.
And with LeBron playing plenty of PG/PF, I'm not seeing them needing a huge number of high-quality minutes beyond Schroder. Not to mention, a healthy LeBron as the engine of your team is just about the best boost you could possibly give a roster, no? I've seen him drag weak or flawed teams to the finals too many times to ever count him out, assuming he's healthy.
That said, altho I'm thrilled LeBron won the trophy last year, I'm getting a real kick out of the team needing to play-in this year. Also, given how utterly obnoxious so many of their fans still are, wouldn't mind in the slightest if they got knocked off, maybe even knocked off early. Just cruising by r/lakers and seeing the number of fans talking about how the Suns (etc) are already quaking in their boots is just... silly.

Lakers have a tough road ahead starting with a team that has championship experience and a Curry who has been lights out shooting. Yes they are going to double and triple him but that’s a tough task to chase him around every game. Plus draymond is going to go all out like a finals game. From what I saw Lebron was gimpy at the end and AD is going to have a tougher battle in the paint. . I don’t think this is the Lakers year.

Before the AD and LeBron injuries, Lakers were in contention for the #1 seed. They’re still the defending champs and they still have the best player in the league until proven otherwise come playoff time.
I do think their role players are worse this year (Rondo and Dwight were big for them at various times throughout the playoffs last year), and that Davis has taken a clear step back compared to last season...but if Davis was just playing possum this year and then turns it back up for the playoffs, the Lakers still pretty clearly have the best 1-2 punch in the league.

The way I see it injuries (first and foremost) and Kyrie's multiple leave of absences, combined with those few early season losses verses teams we should kill, all combined to cost us the #1 Seed, which we only lost by one game and the tiebreaker. I can't recall, but I'm guessing we weren't whole verses Philly either.
