Poll: Which deep-bench signees would you like to return?
There are an interest set of players Orlando could consider for their deep-bench next year. Who would you like to return? More than one poll answer is allowed. (Some on this list are former Magicians).

Re: Poll: Which deep-bench signees would you like to return?
For me, of course it depends on roster slots after the draft and the bigger-named FA market is completed, but I am 100% for Moritz Wagner as a rotational player. I am also 100% for Ignas Brazdeikis, as he showed a very clear set of offensive NBA skills I like on the deep bench.
Beyond that, it was sad Frank Mason III got injured. He is a winner and beyond his physical measurement, he has a mature game I would like as the 3rd-string PG. But that is dependent on their being a need there. Similarly Donta Hall's rebounding is intriguing if the Magic need a deep bench, combo-big. Actually his rebounds per minute lines are NBA elite.
Those four are my list.

Only one I’d keep is Mo if we draft Franz. Unlock the bro power

Honestly none. None of them showed any significance really. I guess Mo Wagner not the worst 3rd stringer. But we could look elsewhere too

I would at the very least invite Brazdeikis, Wagner and Hall to training camp and give them to opportunity to earn bottom of the roster spots.
No guaranteed contracts for any of them though.

Wagner and Brazdeikis got size and potential shooting, Cannady has great story to write. It will be hard to make our roster next year.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

Look Magic fans, Karim Mané has the best hair-cut in the NBA, but how does he get two votes here?

Wagner definitely. I mean he has Birch's willingness to eat an offensive foul and while not as athletic vertically as Birch, he is taller and has more offensive weapons to call on. We need an emergency 3rd big especially given the injury history of our 3 main bigs.

Re: Poll: Which deep-bench signees would you like to return?
Well there are two clear categories.
1) Wagner and Brazdeikis. Yeh both need contracts for me. Not pre-camp deals I mean actually sign them outright.
2) Hall and Cannady. I am ok with pre-camp deals, but I am not sure either would make the team.
p.s. I am surprised there is not more support for Mason. He is a baller and will have an NBA career (if he is 100% healthy). Perhaps it is just that Orlando absolutely has no need for another PG. But if true, then why the support for Cannady???
I would 100% have a healthy Mason over Cannady in a depth chart.

I agree w your 1 & 2.
Iggy would be the 1st true scoring SF we'd have off the bench in a while & Moe is prefect for a 3rd PF/C.

Uh since when? Even in TOR he was always called the SF due to his height being reported anywhere from 6'6-6'8. He played SF to partner with Derozan's SG.
When we got him we always played him SF the first to come off the bench to partner Evan's SG. Or even the full bench lineup of yester-years in DJ,MCW,Ross,(one of AG/JI) Birch.
But nowadays SG/SF are interchangeable I admit.

Yeah, I always thought Evan played the SF when they were together, but you are right so interchangeable.

Wagner is a 3rd stringer center on THIS team?

The currently roster if fully healthy:
Fultz/Anthony/Hampton
Harris/Ross/Bacon
Isaac/Carter-WIlliams
Okeke
Carter/Bamba
Add a probable allocation of three rookies, at best Wagner is a low-minutes backup PF. But more reasonably, yes, he is a third-stringer next year if brought back.
As an aside, the above 11 players and three rookies means only one Wagner-type can be brought in. That could be the decider against Brazdeikis returning: no roster slot. I guess it depends on what the Magic do with the high SRP.

None I’d rather force our young guys to sink or swim even with their fragile bodies
