Who are we rooting for?
I reflexively always root against the Celtics and Pacers, but I think I'll root for the Pacers over the Hornets.
Warriors over Lakers, even though I think the NBA's desire to gift LeBron one more chip might be all that stands in the way of the Nets.
Grizz or Spurs? One more round for Pops. Why not?

I don't know that I have dogs in any of them other than that Wiz/Celts and Lakers/Warriors should be really good games and Lakers will make much better series overall. It'd be cool to see LaMelo go ham or something too.

The loser of the Warriors/Lakers still gets to play the winner of the Grizz/Spurs, right? Or did I read that incorrectly somewhere?

I didn't realize the Play-Ins were a single game. There's bound to be some kind of glorious fukup among those four games

I want Boston to win so that the Nets can curbstomp them for a full series...plus I want Washington in the 8th seed cause I think they have a better shot at upsetting Philly...

Can’t NOT root for Brody at this point, although gotta say strategically I’d rather the Sixers face the Wizards before us. Although the selfish entertainment value is definitely w/a Brody vs KD-Harden first round matchup.
The other 3 eastern play-in teams are washed. Westbrook is the only wildcard of the bunch.

Why do people want to watch Westbrook get swept by the Nets? I'd rather he have a chance to upset the 6ers when they start to choke.

Because if I actually watch the game, I’ll root for Brody. Especially against Boston.
It’s like tanking. If I watch the game, of course I’ll root for the Bobby Portis-Trae Burke Knicks to win even though I know it’s stupid.

Fair enough. That seems weird to me too, but different strokes & all that
