With the coach and vets that they have, no way the Spurs are going to roll over. This gonna be a good game eventually.

Andrew Wiggins revenge game?
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

If the Lakers lose, the play in game will get my seal of approval.

I will enjoy it immensely if the Lakers lose.
But I’m guessing the Jazz are rooting hard for the Lakers to win. They want no part of LeBron in the 1st round. And it would be nice to see that fraud team go out early.

This challenge will be upheld. I can’t see the refs overturning a LeBron attempted charge. Clearly a blocking foul though.

Lakers. It’s not just LeBron. But they having two superstars that you can rely upon to carry a team or take shots down the stretch, they all can shoot and can play big or small. They may not be as potent on offense but they play both ends. This is why they’re always going to be a championship contender.
You can get a glimpse of how the Nets will end games with how the Warriors did it in this game. They’ll sacrifice size while focusing more on defensive rotations and deflections off gambling then double down on offense.
While defensively, Warriors gave up size and took a couple of steps on defense but it took a hail mary shot by Lebron to win it for the Lakers.
This is what NBA wants. Look how much Bron’s shot gets shared on retweeted on social media
Such a shame we cant get a 7 game series of Warriors and Lakers. That would have been a fun match-up.

There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

The Lakers will be the betting favorites to beat Phoenix in the 1st round.

I guess Doc has a plan for Embiid triple teams
As annoying as the always talking about Ben's shooting people are, Doc tops it with his constant what's the big deal about shooting? routine

Here’s a really really weird one.... Jonah freaking Bolden. He just popped into my mind out of nowhere lmao
The dude had all the measurable tools to be an oversized two way wing/pf off the bench and even though is IQ for the game was questionable at best he still showed legitimate flashes. Whatever in the world happened to him

You can't compare the Lakers who have the best defense in the league to the Nets.
The Lakers were an open corner 3 Poole missed shot and a superhuman LeBron shot away from losing, to GSW. They have major problems with the roster and I can't see them winning it all again.
BTW they couldn't play Harrell, Drummond, Schroder because those guys don't play 'both ends'.
Was more impressed with GSW defense than the Lakers. Draymond always being involved in pnrs is a killer for the offensive team.

He played one game for the Boomers then ditched them thinking his role wasn't big enough. Brett Brown was the Boomers coach, it caused a **** storm.
Back in Philly Horford arrived and Korkmaz started playing well, he was out of the rotation and went to G league. Brett Brown leaving didn't do him any favours.

Doc doesn't like anyone to criticize Ben while everyone else is fair game. Its weird.
He also compared him to Magic which is nauseating at this point. Its obvious Doc is a fan of big point guards(he was one himself).

Re: The Playoffs Thread
The Sixers have won at least 60 percent of their games in three out of four seasons that Embiid and Simmons have played together, with last year’s squad (58.9 percent) the sole exception. Prior to this run, the Sixers had won 60 percent of their games just once in the previous 27 years when they went 56-26 in 2000-01.
There have really just been three eras where winning 60 percent of their games was a regular occurrence — the Embiid/Simmons era (three of four … and counting), the Dr. J era (where they did it nine out of 10 years from 1976-77 through 1985-86), and the Wilt Chamberlain era (four straight seasons from 1965-69, albeit the last one coming after Wilt was gone). Barkley (1989-90) and Iverson (2000-01) only accomplished the feat once in Philly.

If he thought it would be productive to publicly complain about him not shooting jump shots 5 days before the playoffs start he would do it.

Re: The Playoffs Thread
One of the things that concerns me about Doc and Daryl being west coast guys who didn’t pay super close attention to the Sixers is that they never saw how frustrating Ben was. And now with us winning so much I feel like they’ve kinda brushed over his pathetic offense and gotten super defensive over it. I don’t love it.
They are in for a surprise with playoff Ben and Tobi shrinking.

Yeah they voted him an all-star because of how frustrating he is. If no.1 seed is frustrating to you not sure what you're after.

Even before the season and in the beginning of the season. He has been dismissive of Ben shooting questions so the playoffs looming has nothing to do with it.

Agree he's letting Ben play his game. You have to throw everything behind your players as the head coach.
