Just was jumping on to say this.

15K sold out for both games (most fans allowed in the playoffs surprisingly) with 90% of seats in vaccinated sections. This **** is gonna be ILL.

I'm going to game 2.

Meanwhile, Nets have Harden giving tix half off on ticketmaster and Fan Duel promotion giving out tix 50$ upper tier and 100$ lower tier to try and get people to go. LOL

Now imagine we had Rose AND Mitch

Ppl make the argument Mitch isn't as important and that's only true bc of our alternative at STARTING pg...... Sigh

Sure, Thibs said he's a Summer evaluation, but that doesn't mean anything, because Luca is probably in close to game shape right now.

This could get interesting, especially if we are winning the series and Luca could get familiar enough with the team to be in the rotation for the second series.

No disrespect but it's not happening. Thibs isn't inserting a new guy at this stage or expelling the guy everybody wants to expel.

True. At the same time Luca is a Euro MVP. But the experience of being in this intense atmosphere in Thibs' practices, preparation etc, is something the Rose Team values for his development.

He definitely is here ASAP to soak everything up, but I'm pretty sure that if he is legit he can step in during the playoffs and get some spot minutes as a back-up. I know some coaches don't want to risk ruining a guy's confidence if things don't go well as such a crucial time, but I think you can do 3 minutes and sit him just to get a read on his pulse. If he is lit and ready from the git go you'll learn it immediately. If not, you don't worry about it for now.

I'm searching for a pic of Rose and Gibson in their current Knick unis, preferably just them and facing the cam but facing away will work too I guess to make a funny meme....that I could see eventually being co-opted by others in the future for recycled use which I am designing to allow for that.

I can't find a decent pic to use yet so if anyone knows of one like that let me know, thanks.

Edit: I guess I will fabricate the scene from samples it can be low res to do what it needs...I haven't pasted heads in awhile 8-)

Any team with two potential sixth men of the year candidates is actually just bringing their starting lineup off the bench.

Y'all can keep saying that until you're blue in the face. He won't do it unless he does. I'm not predicting that he will, but he could.

Anyone listen to the recent 'Locked on Knicks' podcast with Berman?

I know it's Berman - but still - had some interesting things to say.

This is a great point. First time in a long time that the Knicks are not the 'underdog'. It's going to be interesting to see how they handle this new position as the favorite.

I think I saw the Hawks are 27-11 under McMillan. Too much overconfidence in this thread. The Hawks are a dangerous team. And when you have a player like Trae Young who can light it up at any moment, that adds a different dynamic to the series.

Pressure is on the Knicks to win game 1. Hawks have nothing to lose. They know if they could steal one game in NY, they'll take back home court advantage. We CANNOT lose game 1.

The Hawks are playing with house money despite what Vegas says. All the pressure is on NY and Tom but we got this.
