This place is a cesspool of mindless ineptitude, mental decrepitude, and intellectual lassitude. I refuse to be sucked any deeper into this whirlpool of groupthink sewage. My opinions have been expressed. I'm going to go take a shower.

I've watched the game and Giannis played very well. I still think he took too many early shotclock outside shots at the end and Nets defense did terrible job on him, but he'd be a nightmare for Brooklyn in playoffs.

His block on Durant's midrange shot was incredible, I don't view Giannis as ATG defender but he had moments when he looks scary.

I personally am still not a huge fan of his offensive game with regards to playoff resiliency.

I do like their matchup against the Nets but it’s asking a lot to run through MIA, BRK, and PHI with homecourt in only one series.

Probably one of the best seasons ever that has been given the “meh” treatment with absolutely zero fanfare.

Exactly.

28/11/6 on 57% FG, plus a 29 PER, yet he's hardly mentioned and maybe will left out of a top 5 MVP finish.

He took his foot off the defensive gas a bit. Not really a clear peak year so far IMO.

But easily setting up a chance for his best playoff run yet.

I have to say that - for someone this physically gifted, it's frustrating to watch Giannis offense on halfcourt at times.

He can't create his own offense as effectively in the playoffs and has no go to moves. Against well coached teams with the right personel (Heat, Raptors) he can look down right disastrous.

This really hurts his overall impact when comparing him to the ATG players. I think shot creation is vital to performing in the playoffs.

And this is coming from a Bucks fan who has watched Giannis since his rookie year and most of his career games.

Cutting off transition points alone reduces his effectiveness by a big margin. He's still imapctful, but he looks lost when he doesn't have enough space.

The worst thing is his lack of off-ball game - with his frame and physicality, he should kill it off-ball in the post, but he rarely even tries to fight under the basket.
