I’d rather trust the eye test and watching the games. It’s what always has given me success in gambling. Steph’s game doesn’t revolve around getting foul calls at all so no idea why you think it’s relevant. It’s draymond being allowed to flop and foul worse than any other guy in the league. It’s the refs always getting a quick 2 fouls against a matchup problem for warriors. It’s the little things that don’t show up in the box score.

But since you probably don’t watch the games and just use stats go ahead and believe the warriors aren’t constantly being helped by the refs. My eyes ain’t lying.

Right. I don’t watch the games.

I worked for the Warriors for 4 years during the period when Steph was drafted. I’ve watched Steph Curry live in my life considerably more times than you’ve watched him on TV.

The “stat” I quoted rendered your point synonymous with your name: goose egg.

It would be like claiming James Harden “can’t draw contact,” and then having his numbers posted.

Your eyes are either lying or blind. I’ll let you pick. Facts don’t care about your eyes or your feelings.

I want your honest answer: are the grizzlies being hosed by the refs or not right now vs the warriors?

Hosed? No. Neither team is getting hosed.

The refs have missed some calls, but that’s nothing new. The Warriors have actually been called for 9 fouls vs. MEM’s 8. That doesn’t “prove” anything of course, but it’s worth noting when you’re asserting that one team is getting the shaft big time.

The officiating isn’t anywhere close to the story of this game. The story of this game is how ridiculously sloppy and seemingly unprepared GS has looked. They’re only in this game because of a few bursts of exceptional shot making in the late 1st.

I’m very disappointed in how they’ve played.

No one takes me seriously? Says you?

I didn’t realize you spoke for the entire board, and that your opinion (eye test only— facts are only for people who don’t watch games) carried that much weight.

Good to know for the future— it’s important to know who the most highly respected basketball minds are on this forum.

I am so sorry, mighty Goose Egg!

Why don’t you go post in the live thread you think this game has been called right down the middle. You’ll be laughed right out. Are you even watching the game???

More like Wiggins couldn’t make the playoffs. Curry was being doubled and tripled every time down the court.

Ws had no business making the playoffs this year. They were a terrible team.

We saw LeBron miss the playoffs with more talent two years ago.

Curry had bad defense and some awful passes. He was by far the best warrior on the court but he isn’t absolved from this loss. Zero chance lebron or Kobe or Hakeem or shaq loses this game if you swap him with curry...the all time greats would never have lost this. Curry is a current great player. But he is most overrated player of my lifetime

Ja did not outplay Curry. His role players made wide open 3s.

Meanwhile Steph had Wiggins bricking shots and Draymond missing a wide open drive.

This is while he was double the entire game and still dropped 35.

LeBron got outplayed by Jason Terry in the NBA Finals.
